Oh, I'm a frequent user of Paypal as well. I was just nervous about that "negative space" between transferring the money and having it appear on Paypal (Since I don't own a credit card- I transfer from a Canadian bank account which takes fucking ages).

It's safe anyways, and the fact that the money is only gonna be there for a few hours at most before I make the purchase makes it a small issue at best. I just wanted to know if anyone ever had problems with it before.

This is all fine and dandy, and I've always supported this kind of diligence from a community, but my only concern is how far are we willing to take this? For example, I could condemn your use of the word "ladies" right now. Many women do consider that term to be "degrading" so, are you now in violation of these new policies or what? ...Is a tricky subject.

I would assume (and hope) that they're only talking about cases of blatant hate speech. Take for example the fact that a lot of people use generic words that degrade either sex, like bitch/bastard, while not that many people would throw out an insult like whore or slut in the same manner. A lot of the time it's easy to see when an insult is coming from direct hate.

That being said, being a member of a (minority?) I enjoy knowing that you guys are taking a stand against that kind of behaviour on the site. I've personally never been insulted over being a Xenophile (mostly cause I'm not really forward about it) but hey, it's good to know that I'd be able to do something about it if I ever was.

I feel you, bro. It's hard to pick and choose what ideas merit actual serious development work.

Part of me really wants to make the rest of the Oneirophrenia maps like this, alas there aren't many tiles that have a total side-view perspective. Admittedly, they might not be too difficult to make.

It's an interesting way to go about making an RPG, that's for sure. I know- I've been designing a game like this for a while now, and constraining pretty much everything to a small rectangle in the top of the screen.

The hardest thing about designing this way is having to parallax map pretty much everything besides foreground objects. Also, changing the way encounters are handled, due to not being able to use touch encounters and not wanting to use random battles.

I honestly don't even know. Matrixmancs was pretty destroyed, and something went down when I wasn't around. All I heard was a huge argument so I got our designated driver to get us the fuck out of there ASAP.
