Does it matter that we use the Christian cross in our games?
Personally it's something I avoid doing. I don't like using direct symbols like that in a game which is supposed to have its own world and lore since it confuses things.
To me it's not the same as just drawing inspiration for historical religious practices, architecture or culture. It'd be like walking around the Mushroom Kingdom and seeing an American flag. It sticks out.

That L is... if I didn't already know it was there I doubt I'd have figured it out. It's way too extended and the fancy metalwork on the clock hands is obfuscating it heavily, being lined up with the letters as it is.
I like the rendering, font, and colours, but the clock idea could seriously use some iteration.

You have literally no moral obligation to freely distribute anything custom you make. It's up to the creator to descide the rights and use.

Played around with Construct 2. Wonder if I could make a metroidvania game with it someday.
I'd use something else for a big game like that. C2 is pretty clunky and runs badly in a lot of situations.
