He should be in the library, above the item shop.

Final Fantasy: Legend of Balance

Oh, there might be some dialogue issue there. Speak to Cid in Aquaria to continue the plot. He should be in the throne room.

And thank you very much for the kind words! I am glad you're having so much fun with the game. =)

Final Fantasy: Legend of Balance

I actually changed that hunt since a lot of people seemed to be having a ton of trouble with it.

Just go to that location and it should be there, as long as you've patched within the past couple of months.

FAQs

Good to hear you got it and like the game, and thanks for playing!

FAQs

Glad you got it figured out~

FAQs

If you have seen the scenes before, you're fine. There's no time limit or anything to the quest. So if you went in order and saw nothing you must have seen them already.

That's probably the Riverside Cabin. The one on the snowy island is for Marz's quest, if you haven't done that you need to go to Kokkol's Forge first.

He is at Sundiland Pass~

FAQs

It is to the east of Enaya on the northern snowy continent.

The frog quest starts at the Riverside Cabin.

You have to go to 3 Inns in order. Cecille, then Enaya, then Kutan. if you saw scenes at all 3 places you should be good if you've done all the other sidequests.

Bug Reports

Wait mode means that the enemies won't attack you while in the ability/item menus. They will still attack while just selecting a command. That's how Active/Wait has always worked in Final Fantasy, and it allows stuff like passing turns to keep a character on standby and so on. I did have a full wait mode for a while where enemies wouldn't attack while selecting commands, but it really messed with the flow of battle and made the game impossible to balance properly because it made everything way too easy and made some abilities not work quite right. Sorry if this is a big issue. :/

Final Fantasy IV Alter Destiny Intro + First Battles

Looks nice, you did a good job with a lot of the out of combat animations. Have you considered a mode 7 script to make the airship sequences look a bit closer to the game? Also, I've noticed that you are using FF4 PSP tiles for all of the areas, but it seems like not for the world map. Was this a deliberate choice?

As for the combat, your character sprites are very unique! Interesting choice to give Cecil a skillset rather than just Dark Wave. I think the only thing off I noticed was the abruptness of the attack animations. I think it's because your standard attack has no stepping forward or back, and you don't have damage set to wait for animation on your spells.

Otherwise, looking good so far! You did an excellent job recreating the scenes.

Bug Reports

It seems it was only set as a counterattack, it has been fixed and will be in the next patch. Thanks for the report!
