Something happened to me last night when I was driving home. I had a couple of miles to go. I looked up and saw a glowing orange object in the sky. It was moving irregularly. Suddenly, there was intense light all around. And when I came to, I was home.

Wow, I've been working on my game for less than a year and already have 7 hours done...

Working on an entry in the Unity contest. Lots to do yet but it's turning out great!
Unfortunately, it's demanding all of my spare time at the moment so as much as I'd like to enter another event, I probably won't be able to unless the event's specs are compatible with the Unity contest.
Which would be super-awesome. It would suck to have two major gamedev events going on at once and only being able to enter one.

So I finally got to see Ender's Game through Netflix. Would I be the only person here who thinks that movie was kind of... Mediocre?
I actually thought it was much better than I was expecting as a big fan of the book. It had been in development hell for so long and there were so many ways I was expecting them to meddle with it and get it wrong that I ended up being really impressed that they didn't screw it up.
Of course, it wasn't as good as the book, but it was all I could hope for out of a movie adaptation.
