I'm stuck after entering the wall, the npc only says "well, well, well..." no events after that. :(
Oh noo I forgot I still had the download up. xD
So my laptop crashed and so did my games data and stuff so I had to start all over again. That's pretty much where it ends with that route.

I assume by "easy way" you refer to brute-forcing a hue change.
You can do this with any image designing software like Photoshop, Fireworks, GIMP, or others. You can just adjust the hue of the image to recolor it entirely.
What I'd personally do is use the Wand or Selection tool (available in all software like the ones mentioned above) to separate each element of the sprite in various layers, and THEN change the hue of specific parts, like clothing or accessories, or Eyeballs! This way I'm not changing the entire sprite and i don't get unwanted results. Like technicolor skin.
