Hero's Realm: Heroic Edition

I only recently discovered this was going to be a RPG Maker 2003 game. I had always assumed the commercial version would be made with RPG Maker 10 VX3a or whatever the kids are using these days.

Let the past die. Kill it, if you have to. That's the only way to become what you were meant to be

neat! thanks for the background information.

We need an RPG Maker community historian or something.

I was actually just thinking about how all of the late 90's / early 2000's nonsense is slowly starting to slip away in my head. It's much hard to recall now. Sad, really.

Except for remembering WIP stands for WackInPsychotic666 and NOT "work in progress". That is forever etched into my soul.

MOTTO 2018 ::..LET THE PAST DIE. KILL IT, IF YOU HAVE TO.

I've been using this as my default response to any statement I can't be bothered to respond to intelligently in 2018.

Gather around the campfire kids.

My first experience with QHeretic was on the NeXus where he started "solving" all kinds of newbie RPG Maker questions while at the same time blasting links to his pre-GGZ website. He responded to dozens of questions, most of which seemed to be asked my kindergarteners.

A little research revealed all of the kindergarteners were, in fact, QHeretic. They all had the same IP address! When confronted with this, he first alleged they were all from different school classmates before banning me from the pre-GGZ and becoming a recluse.

Amazing that this was almost 20 years ago. Now I feel old.
