What Videogames Are You Playing Right Now?
I've only really been playing SWTOR lately as well. My main is a Jedi Guardian, and the plot for that class loosely follows the ending to the original KotOR games and directly follows the plot from the official Revan novel. I'm close to wrapping that up, and I look forward to joining the Empire on my next roll.

But if SWTOR really does turn free to play like the recent rumors have said, then I may just give it another shot.
I'm not sure whether to go as Republic or Empire, though... I've already gone as Empire before, but the Republic is the "good" faction. Not only is being evil more entertaining, but the "good" faction always has the urge of attracting the most kids.
I doubt it will go F2P anytime in the near future, or not as long as it has 500,000+ subscriptions. They did announce a "trial" mode that lets you play until Lv. 15 with some restrictions, and also the possibility of adding some micro-transactions but that is most likely for cosmetics or consumable items.
Also, I've found most of the kids tend to go Empire -- because they find being evil to be more entertaining.

Also, I thought that Star Wars: The Old Republic MMO was an immense dissapointment. I didn't expect it to kill World of Warcraft, which I was still playing back then, but from everything I had seen from it I did expect it to at least get me out of WoW. And when I played it, I immensely enjoyed the characters' personal storylines, but... The playerbase was just so immensely small that you couldn't get anything done in a group. And so, when I had played through my main character's story, I found myself with completely nothing to do. Unless I felt like spending an entire afternoon in the main hub, desperately trying to get a group for an instance, only to often have it disbanded before completing it. Needless to say, I soon returned to WoW like a weakling.
The actual playerbase for SWTOR is very large (1+ million), it was just unfortunately spread too thinly across hundreds of servers. They begun rectifying that last week with transfers to essentially "megaservers". Quite a different game now with 600-900 people on the fleet during prime time for most of the servers. If you're still interested, you should check out if you qualify for a free transfer or not.

Don't hold your breath. Lysander86 is a game designer for Turbine now, all that exists of ABL is old demos and chicken scratch in some notebooks.

Lots of e-mail providers allow you to use "custom" e-mail address to determine where the spam is coming from. For example, a Gmail user can use username+enterbrain@gmail.com or whatever when registering. Then if you determine spam is coming from a particular signup, you know who to blame... and how to route that stuff to the trash.

What Videogames Are You Playing Right Now?
GOG is pretty cool and deserves all the love it can get. The best part is not only do they make a bunch of old classic games available for cheap, they also take the time to try to make them compatible with modern systems. I'm interested to see how they transition as they offer more and more "newer" games.
