yeah, i never said i wanted to generate healthy discussion, random rmn user. if i wanted to stir up shit i would have posted it in the forums and not on a blog. i like how you fall right in line posting in the topic, though. i don't expect a lot of people to get my post or the point i'm trying to make, but a few people did.

I just realised something: According to this post, good game design equates to Barkley: Shut Up And Jam: Gaiden* and teaching people how to speak Japanese. Excuse me if I don't want to join in.
just started reading though these posts. i am glad you realized something that does not exist because i never said barkley is some revolutionary piece of game design. i just urled it in a blog post to give it some extra traffic. gz actually sells speak japanese on xbox, so yeah he's obviously doing something right.

Most people don't have partners, let alone friends that are capable of building game engines.
it's not hard to network out and connect with someone. it's the internet. and there are people all over who are dedicated coders and artists. if i can do it, i am sure anyone is capable of it.

no. i am pretty sure i said it's fine to work on your rpgmaker games. if people are content with that, it's great, just don't pretend like game design is a big factor in it, because it isn't.
