- There's no included side view battlers for the top row of Actor3. Is this intended or an oversight?

I feel it could be an oversight; there's files for Actor3_5 -> Actor3_8 which means they at least had a 3_1 -> 3_4 somewhere. Perhaps they weren't good enough quite yet or someone accidentally'd them?

EDIT 2: seeing people complain about not being able to run this in 1080p makes me wonder why that's even important for this engine. I've always understood it to keep close to that Retro/SNES-y look

I don't think that's a good idea, and I realise now that I could be wrong in my assumption.


It could be good, depending; I just hope that whoever's picked is notified and permission is asked for.

Anyhow, starting to move some stuff over to MV and doing that rewrite of FoD I've been toying with. Feels real good to have the character generator be this good and not have to rely on assets from the internet (and, by extension, every other tileset/art asset matching). Let's see how far RTP can go soze I can brush up on me mapping/eventing/story-writing skills.

Now if only I could stop listening to all the music so I can get something done

I can imagine; more so seeing as how the male/female heads differ ever so slightly as to require re-aligning some of the parts (at least IMO)

the music should be backwards compatible with vx ace.


re-encode it to whatever type is needed, there should be plenty of tools on the 'net.

but the OGG files should already work with VX Ace if I'm reading this stuff correctly, so I guess this has already been met

why would they have 2 programming languages on a single game, though?

UE 4 comes kinda close with the Blueprint system and the ability to code in C++, Unity can do C# and Js.

Why? Probably to seem a bit more open to people who exclusively know one of the languages offered or to offer an easier language to jump into while still having a more powerful one available.

Why would anyone mix them? No clue; perhaps they know how to do some stuff in one language and other stuff in the other while needing to do both things (am I even effectively communicating an idea here)?

Question? Why are your houses so thin? Do they only have one skinny hallway inside them? Because that's what it looks like. Make the roofs a bit longer - at least three or four tiles 'high'. That way it looks like there's actual areas in the house.

Alrighty, will get right on that; was spacially unsure on how the tiles represented actual size so I went with 1 or 2 o-o
