Review Vote Guidelines
1/1.5 - so horribile I will not mention it. No one would like this trash.
2/2.5 - bad but with some good qualities or good
but with many bad flaws. Could have been worse and some people may like it anyway.
3/3.5 - from decent to good games. This is what I normally expect: entertainment. Some people may like it more, others less but it's ok!
4/4.5 - exceeded my expectations. These are must play for everyone.
5 - Rpgmaker Nirvana

*NOTE*: event games/jam submissions and other games that were developed in a very short time or with other restrictions get a rating bonus (usually +0,5), you are warned!

Where The Moon Goes At Night Review

author=16bitking
Oh, there's stuff there too (although admittedly it's not as extensive nor apparent as the busy robots)! I won't spoil it for you, but you should do some additional searching in those areas.

Oh yes I probably understand what are you referring too. I won't spoil but I hope that there'll be some sequel about some of these things that were found... ;)

I'm glad you enjoyed it my friend!

It was really fun, I especially liked the part before meeting the two fishmen (in the first pic I posted here), before and after getting to the city. That part is great, I liked both the atmosphere and the weirdness, the rooms... great.

Typos have been completely fixed in 1.2.2, the most recent update, and if you look around enough it's possible to completely skip the long hallway present towards the end of the game

Oddly the long hallway did not bother me. I was referring to the last maps, the forest, the mountain and the final map, where I hoped to find more interactive spots as I was sure that some things I was were useful (like the skull inside one of the three), but no I was wrong (the first area for example, has the busy bots that are in fact useless but it gives a message that they are ignoring you). Eheh, not a problem anyway!

I really appreciate it and will be working towards adding in features to rectify these issues should I make a new game or a sequel![/quote

It was a really good first game so I hope to see something next!

I'm glad you like the graphics of the game! It certainly seems to be one of the most popular aspects of the game lol.

To tell the truth I liked other things too. For example the sounds (especially the use to "replace" the travelling scenes) and the music (especially during Toragu fights).
Played on normal, I found the game quite easy but it's a good thing! Good job!

Thanks for the review!
Glad you liked it :-)

Hey! It was brilliant, I liked both the gameplay and the nice graphics! Something unusual and rich of details! I guess it took lots of work!

Where The Moon Goes At Night

So far I am liking it very much. The different difficulty levels are something you rarely find in these games (playing on normal and seems not too difficult. And I like this way). Graphics are very nice, and story is...well, strange. I ti finish it soon so I could make a review.

To the others: Would you mind sharing which games you reviewed? If I do get to more games, I'd prefer it were unreviewed ones

Sure.
Firon, Deadly Woods, Two Strangers Sat in a Garden and I'm gonna do Where the Moon goes at Night.

Basically anything Rmk2003

Final Fantasy VII Jenova Crisis

Tell me where you found these Chars that I will download now. Thanks.

here: Rm2kcentral

these are the better ones I think

Here some others including the Turks and and Rufus(sadly Turks charsets are always ugly, but they are quite easy to make!)

Final Fantasy VII Jenova Crisis

Can you tell me if it is only in kalm that this error occurs?

So far it happens only there, but I've to reach New Midgard so we will see...
The game crashes when entering one of those houses, error is missing file "FF7-Matéria-Setafile"

author=bussoli
Are the materials that the Cloud does not use is Magic or Equipment?

Materia, only uses Cure and Ice even if I also equipped Fire and Lightning.

author=bussoli
Typing errors must be from the translator I use. This game was in Portuguese, so I had to translate.

Well I remember Weiis (Weiss I think is correct),ative (active), and a couple others but I do not know where.

Already the characters I will try to standardize all in a single type for the next update.

That would look a lot better, I think. Just see Yuffie comparison to the nerby soldier. ;)

Final Fantasy VII Jenova Crisis

Hey! Nice game so far I like it. Combat is not too hard and I like the idea of a sequel even if the game has a couple of big problems (some missing files that make the game crash when entering some houses in Kalm, Vincent loses items after limit break, and Cloud does not use some materia equipped) and some minor issues (some typos, Cloud sometimes stops in front of the enemy). It's also a pity that some charsets are so different (Yuffie bigger than Cloud and Vincent that are taller than Zack and secondary characters). I'd have used the typical Rmk2003 smaller charsets (as already have every FfVII character done).
On the contrary monsters and battlers choice is eccellent. Mapping is ok, music is good.

Anyway I am having fun playing this so far, it's an enjoyable game and plays exactly as a FfVII game.

Provolone Review

Hey! Happy you liked a review.

This was a funny game with funny dialogues and funny characters. I agree, Epic Elf is good. But I prefer Epic Elf II (and I like Grissan too, same author!).

I will check the maps, I usually do this only if I have problems in completini the game, I do not want to spoil the fun.
By the way the empty castle I mentioned has a very Castlevania-like corridor! (Oh I remember other games that used Castlevania styled parts, pity that they are lost in time).

Hmmm I just wonder what could be the story of Provolone 2...

Well maybe it is not 2013 bit seems that I'm stuck with all these Rmk2003 games. I just love them! :)
