1/1.5 - so horribile I will not mention it. No one would like this trash.
2/2.5 - bad but with some good qualities or good
but with many bad flaws. Could have been worse and some people may like it anyway.
3/3.5 - from decent to good games. This is what I normally expect: entertainment. Some people may like it more, others less but it's ok!
4/4.5 - exceeded my expectations. These are must play for everyone.
5 - Rpgmaker Nirvana
*NOTE*: event games/jam submissions and other games that were developed in a very short time or with other restrictions get a rating bonus (usually +0,5), you are warned!

Eheb Saga - Droughtlock Review
author=Norpoleon
Heyyyyy, Addict, thank you yet again for covering my game!!
Nice to see that you overall liked it.
I have to admit that the action-battle system for this one is far from ideal.
You the limitations for an action-battle system in the rpg maker 2003.
I currently working on a spiritual successor to this game on a completely new
engine that is made for action RPGs. (((: Thanks alot again *:
Keep up the good work. Your feedback is extremely helpful. (((:
Thanks a lot for these really peculiar games! A common trait is the aestetic that's something that I always dig a lot, no matter how much I liked the game.
Heh I'm also planning to play the first Knocka Dora...
One Final Burial Review

I hadn't even realized how similar the premises for One Final Burial and Tower of the Starblessed were lmao. I'm glad to hear you've enjoyed what's available of OFB so far! Especially the characters, since characters are something I always try to make well...
I keep getting different causes reported for the decimal damage, so it's been taking some time to figure out the specific cause of it... Hoping it's something I can figure out soon.
Thanks very much for the review!
Yeah the game is cool and... I realized later that it was a demo, so I was so saaaaaad! Anyway, looking forward the complete version, so far it's pretty cool!

Ok. I checked and probably Boulon didn't update this gamepage.
You can find a link to the longer demo here. Estimated length is 15h (description is in french but ingame is english). If you liked it, it's a blast to play.
YEAH! That's cool news, I feared the game was dead and forgotten. Niceeee! :D

If you played 1hour, this was probably not the most recent demo. From what I saw from the 2018 demo (the last to date?), I had around 6hours and I hadn't finished it.
The dev is not the most active on social media, but the game is still being worked on and about to release (maybe in 1 or 2 years).
Ow yeah probably. The demo here is the 2016 one not the 2018 you mentioned, also I know that rpgmaker2003 saves does not list the gameplay hours, so I MAY be wrong. Or MAYBE I missed something... heh there could be various reasons!
Secret of Stormlot Review

Yeah I also introduced some new mechanics like the defeat all enemies in an area and get a bonus item/equipment. Overall it is more difficult.
Yep!
I got the spiked shield and the Rage ability from these bonuses
Anyway I prefer the use of touch encounters rather than the usual old random battles, that's much better.

Thanks for the review. You should play the second game. It has a new main character (A familiar one) and It explains some things. Plus the maps and cut scenes battles etc. are improved but It's less of a recruit new characters game and focuses more on a few.
Already started!!! Mapping if really improved and I also like combat much more... but it's pretty difficult, probably more than this one! :D
I'll InvaliGate Your Aid Review

May I ask what were the parts that you hated? To see if it's possible to make them just slightly less annoying. I was also thinking on adding another checkpoint in the final fight.
In the first version, the "mouse cursor" minigame was way harder, with faster mouse and more buttons. Luckily I heavily nerfed it, also because on some low-end PCs the cursor-moving script gets delayed (it's an async function), causing a lot of confusion.
uuuhmmm probably the cursor minigame because it escaped control after few seconds... ahah it was hard. But ok, nothing was really annoying (even if boy, final part was so frenetic and difficult ahahahaha)

Thank you so much for the review! I'll see if I can't figure out why the ghost counter isn't working. I will probably also take the time to bump the difficulty up a bit.
As to why it lags, I don't know if that can actually be fixed. All gameplay and movement are exclusively parallel processes. Now, there's only one movement process on at a time, and it's turned off during encounters, the player movement tracker, the random encounter tracker, and the console tracker (which also tracks health) do run concurrently with it. One thing you will likely note is that the lag only happens after you've used a Sanctuary (I like that name!), and it doesn't always trigger the lag. Since healing, mana restoration, and even finding the ring don't cause lag, I don't think I'll be able to fix this, since all of those things just affect two variables, and the Sanctuary does the exact same thing. The only difference is that the Sanctuary tops off both variables while the health potion, the mana potion, and the ring only affect one variable at a time. That might it, though. It would be a bit of slog, but maybe if I put the mana health and character health in separate processes, that might take care of the lag.
I dunno if it's maybe accidental, but opening full screen and going to window actually seemed to fix that albeit temporarily. Not sure.
