1/1.5 - so horribile I will not mention it. No one would like this trash.
2/2.5 - bad but with some good qualities or good
but with many bad flaws. Could have been worse and some people may like it anyway.
3/3.5 - from decent to good games. This is what I normally expect: entertainment. Some people may like it more, others less but it's ok!
4/4.5 - exceeded my expectations. These are must play for everyone.
5 - Rpgmaker Nirvana
*NOTE*: event games/jam submissions and other games that were developed in a very short time or with other restrictions get a rating bonus (usually +0,5), you are warned!

Pokemon, The Evil Inside 2 Review
author=thesacredlobo
Sadly the official site is down now apparently and the archived version is missing files. It's missing everything from the .exe file for the launcher to the harmony.dll file to even some of the animation files which means the game can crash on you in the middle of playing it since that's how RPG Maker 2000 responds to missing file issues.
So while you can easily copy over the RPG_RT.ETE and harmony.dll files. The missing animation files are going to be an absolute headache to deal with since you won't even know your down a file here or there until the issue pops up. At least you can easily address that issue by simply copying a random file and giving it the right name, but it's annoying process to go through. Especially if you haven't saved in a while and you can't save during a mission from what I can tell. So you may need to play some missions multiple times to figure out the names of all of the missing files needed for that particular mission.
Ow that's sad! Luckily I still have my archived copy, and it worked without issues... I should upload it somewhere!
Czarina Must Die Review

Glad you liked it, I'd love to make a more fleshed-out version of the battle system someday!
Yay! Even if so far Dragons' descendants is my favourite, this is still a cool little game. I liked the battle system. And the humor too.
Jingle Gates Review

Thanks! I'm happy you appreciated the game! :D
I'm sorry for the English, I'm still improving, and this game was translated around one year ago. After this game, I'm trying to have a more accurate translation double checking with external tools or other people!
You can find the music sources in "Credits.txt" in the game folder.
Nah vai tranquillo ci vuole solo un pò di pratica! Ho letto dialoghi peggiori in altri giochi, succede. Anywayyy nice, game was cool and ingenious! I will try the next one too!

THanks for playing, though I'm not sure why anyone would. XDD
not one but three reasons:
- Twilight memes were popular years ago, so I was curious!
- Played other badaptations, so I was curious!
- Review = MAKERSCORE!
VANITY Review

Thanks for the review! It was encouraging lol
I didn't think about players who liked grinding . The game was designed in a way that you don't have to, but it was wrong to take that choice away. I'll take it out in later versions.
Nah its ok as it is. ONLY real problem was the last boss since the guide suggest to use a skill that... I did not have! Was tough... sometimes his special attack oneshotted my chars even when defending if not at full life.
For the rest the game was pretty cool, I liked it much more the first demo.
Elf Quest: Get the Shiny Review

Ha I remember playing this like a decade ago. Not sure I actually made the demo end though.
Well it's not a bad game at all the problem is that it uses a bit of everything: random encounters AND wandering enemies, save points AND free saves. I did not mind this, problem is that story is not really exciting but not bad either. Has also some humor but it's not a parody/silly game.
BTW the demo ends shortly after you find the party member in the last pic I posted (there's a roadblock that makes the second half of the dungeon inaccessible).
Moonlite Shadows Review

You still got farther than me. I took me two hours to reach the entrance to the Bramblewoods and at that point I was like I $%#@%$Z give up. Admittedly you can drop the game's difficulty somewhat by setting the game to passive mode, but that just changes the game from being difficult to be even more tediously boring since the developer had no sense of restraint when it came to properly balancing out the game.
Happy to see I'm not the onoly one. The first "dungeon" was tolerable, and I hoped it was going to get better, at least with the addition of other party members. But no. Difficulty aside, tedious and boring is a pretty perfect term for this game, sadly, funny how this was so far the worst game I reviewed (even worse than "The Amazing Adventures of Captain Maloneum", check that one, it IS bad, but less tedious, less difficult and with bugs reserved to an omptional quest!)... *until* this week. You will see!

And if they really wanted this game to be a challenge it would have been better to have set encounters and require the player to carefully consider what resources they are going to use in order to win any given fight. That way it places an emphasis on using skills properly as well as MP and item management.
Unfortunately the game has no real strategy and it's really basic, often using the best attack works, but this means tat you need mana, so you need to restock and that's difficult since there is one wandering merchant in each maze-like dungeon. I was hoping for some good old-school rpgmaker game but nah! There are other titles.

Cybarren needed some love, and so I whipped a sprite up really quick!
I did my version, and added Shiny too. Next one will be Lavender + Lavenger :P

Train Trip Review

I'm in a bit of a hurry at the moment, but I'm curious if you managed to pick pocket the ghost.
I suppose were playing a smooth criminal in this one.
I did, I did. Anyway I must admit that I played the game twice, the second to get all the coins, and I first watched (after the first playthrough) a letsplay on youtube because I totally missed some like this one!

Thanks for the review. Yes, Othello is probably the best thing I have to offer. I think you have reviewed all my decent games.
Decent? Naaah they're much more than decent, Othello was great, this was pretty good but the Triple Triad made me sink lot of time in it! Just for the fun of playing cards and collect them (I also find these assets pretty nice but used too rarely!). I also liked Aelwyn's Journey by the way!
