Review Vote Guidelines
1/1.5 - so horribile I will not mention it. No one would like this trash.
2/2.5 - bad but with some good qualities or good
but with many bad flaws. Could have been worse and some people may like it anyway.
3/3.5 - from decent to good games. This is what I normally expect: entertainment. Some people may like it more, others less but it's ok!
4/4.5 - exceeded my expectations. These are must play for everyone.
5 - Rpgmaker Nirvana

*NOTE*: event games/jam submissions and other games that were developed in a very short time or with other restrictions get a rating bonus (usually +0,5), you are warned!

Lamia Nox Review

Nice RE-review, even if it's all my fault! (well I liked the first one like it was)
Anyway I understand why you re-made this, I will probably do the same for one of my oldest I did (already done Three the Hard Way).

No, I like it (just because I don't generally like horror doesn't mean I don't like all horror) and I like the story. This game specifically would have been very different if I had been able to work on it, and it ended up being nowhere near what I wanted it to be. That's why I want to forget it, sometimes. But I do like the game. It's just the reminders of a really bad time that make me want to forget it.

Oh yes, I understand. Story had a potential for sure, I wonder what it was the original intent, anyway that's still good that you were able to complete the game in such a short time and difficult situation! Still better and more interesting than other games I played (and some not even made in a short time)

Thank you so much for the review.

So, this was for a thirty-day jam and I had just gotten out of the possible for severe skin infections in the legs. The doctor had said there was no medical difference between these wounds caused by infection and third-degree burns aside from the cause. Morphine had not been able to manage the pain so while I was in hospital, I had been put on Dilaudid (which is morphine, but with a little something extra). Dilaudid was illegal to prescribe outside of the hospital, so they put me on Percocet, which is Tylenol (the bottles even had Tylenol on the label), but with opioids. Anyway, for this jam, I was following the instructions for that Percocet, which was specifically written with the fear that I might become addicted (I didn't), with the added instruction to take another only if I couldn't get the pain under control (for that whole month, I couldn't). I just sent a message into the jam that I was in so much pain on that particular day that I couldn't even work. I just couldn't concentrate. But I went the whole month not being able to work on it. I had drawn the graphics and made the sprites on the first day and was ready to go, and then, the pain management hit like a ton of bricks. On, like, the last two days of the jam, the pain had finally subsided and I was able to focus on what I was doing, and I overworked both days.

Ow. Impressive how did you manage to finish this despite it all? Just making the graphics all alone is really worth of note, really. The most important aspect for me was how the environment changes week after week, and this is something I did not expect (also it's rarely done in most other game I played). At all.

Sometimes, I kind of just want to forget this game existed but I'm proud that I got something playable out and that it was actually a somewhat decent story. And you should be surprised it's horror because I generally don't like horror.

Uhm I understand, well I saw the other review that made me curious, and I was also looking for a short game to play. Nice that the ending was more or like that book I read (even if the story was sooo long before that revelation and I think it was more fitting a short tale, like this one). Well it's more a sort of psychological horror, but despite not liking it, it turned out pretty good I guess!

Blame the opinion of JoJo on hotgamerdad! (I've never seen it and can't even remember what gag he probably inserted in there loool) ;)
.

Heh you take the blsme too for this lo
I also won't blame hotgamerdad I already let him die too many times in my playthrough!

It's not a gag it is a low rating of the Jojo Phantom blood DVD, one of the collectibles.
Uhm I could agree with some opinions for example on Shawshank Redemption AND especially Pixels, anywayyyy not on Jojo since I am a fanboy...I'm even making a new avatar for myself with me and Klaus from Rm2k3 as a Stand. Lol

Gah! Thank you for this kind review, RPGMakerAddict. I've told hotgamerdad about this review, and he's super chuffed.

I'm very happy that it resonated with you, with all its silly humour and child-like wonder, staring at the stars over yonder. Glad you caught the references to "Yoshi Goes to Tesco" and "ChickenQuest" in there, particularly since Frogge and codapill are great friends, and we love to shout out our friends. If I make another comedic game in future, I'll definitely try to remember to add a character based on RPG Maker Addict ;)

I will debuff the Zubats and make some other small changes, including some issues that need fixing that you found. Thanks for doing that. :D

But yes, I'm glad you had a fun time with it. Much love <3

Nice. But I'm still disappointed by your (low) opinion on Jojo! LOL!!!
Hehehe anyway yes, movies (I hate Pixels!) and games (I love Lisa the Painful!) it's a great combo, nice abilities for the various characters, even if I admit I have my favourites.

Well done!

It's a funny romp indeed.

This was such a nice surprise! Thank you for the review, and I'm glad you enjoyed the game! :D

Heh I admit it took me a lot of time to play and review this one because it's pretty long! Good job, I consider this game a real classic!

Train Trip Review

Whoa! Thanks for the review! Did not expect to get one for this game since it's so tiny. It was my first Godot game so it was quite difficult to work on it past a certain point. Can't believe it's been 2 years.

Yeah, it's a tiny game but with some peculiar and interesting visuals!
Well I probably saw it two years ago, but I had no chance to try it until now!

Thanks for the review, especially for such a small game. It really means a lot!

Well it was nice, I mean I do not expected the custom assets. And I liked the music too.
