[RMMV] No MP3s WTF?
author=Mirak
Get audacity stormcrow, you'll be able to turn mp3 into ogg quite quickly and efficiently.
Better use this online converter. That should be the fastest solution.
1. Hit the blue button to upload your audio-file.
2. choose quality and to which file you want to convert.
3. Hit the second button to convert.

@IndependentArt:
Very detailed work. I like the color and the blurr. Looking forward to see more screens like this one.
@NanakyTim:
Awesome transition! I really like it!
@Own progress:
I'm getting on with my combat system, and I'm currently in the process of inserting the movesets and skill descriptions for each character.

I'm a terrible liar!

Oh, and using the name of the fictional African nation from a spectacularly popular blockbuster movie for one of your characters is kind of strange.
I've changed the name to make sure no one feels offended just because a fictional character from my game happens to have the same name as a fictional nation from a blockbuster movie.

Is it ever a good idea to have the first one or two encounters of your game be extremely difficult?
I once played a rm-game (I forgot the name) where I had to click myself through 10 minutes of text-based introduction leading me to the very first battle which I lost within two or three turns. I couldn't remember any other situation, where I'd hit alt+f4 that fast.
Castle Warfare
Hi, frzhrt834.
I'm glad that you like the game that much. Thanks for leaving a comment on my game page. :)
You can survive the dragon's attack by having full HP (150), but you have to additionally protect yourself with the Hurricane spell. This will do the trick.
I have good news for you: I'm currently working on (up to five) new scenarios, but they will be slightly different from the other ones. It will mainly be about attacking and destroying enemy castles. :)

Making Annoying But Never Stupid Games as a Challenge
How about making a game where you can only win if you lose? Every Game Over gives you a certain number of points and you can beat your own highscore by losing as fast as possible. So it's frustrating because you're constantly losing every single try, but it's also motivating, because you win anyway.
Making Annoying But Never Stupid Games as a Challenge
What are your favorite and least favorite parts of gam mak?
My games focus mainly on gameplay, and from that you can already guess that creating gameplay elements is certainly the most fun for me. This is also the aspect of game making where you see the fastest results. Planning and implementing game sequences, level design and graphic displays (GUI) is also a thing I enjoy doing. Mapping, on the other hand, is such a evil thing that I don't like at all. xD

What was the worst/funniest/most memorable moment you've had while someone else was playing your game?
A few months ago, I've uploaded a version of my game that had a gamebreaker in level 8: you couldn't win this level. The link was up for two weeks and no one noticed.
