Is it me or it's just that my Computer Science teacher said that we should make a game as our project?

Don't worry, teachers like innovation. This one time in Creative Writing class we were tasked with using some sort of media to show off a poem and that is how Poetry 2K was born. I got pretty high marks~ (the only issues were the fact that it took forever to get the presentation to work and that the music wouldn't play on the computer we were using for presentation. welp!)
Same here! At Grade 6, we were tasked to create our own story using PowerPoint Presentation. I asked my teacher to use another program and I use RPG Maker VX. We had technical difficulties, but we succeeded and got high marks.

That's nothing unusual. We made video games as our end-of-year project in high school Comp Sci too. Though we had to do ours with fucking Turing.
Our's the unusual one. Not even one of us are developers... except me, of course.
