if it's entirely unedited and all RTP, I will not be in any way impressed, so probably not.
I don't think there's anything wrong with using scripts that do what you want them to. I just find it absurd that you call them "innovations." I've seen too many games that just tossed a bunch of scripts together and called it a game. Maybe not valid criticism for you, but absolutely valid criticism for general game design. I see this constantly. SO INNOVATIVE

Totally not untrue.In fact I almost mentioned that in the post.
But they make the gameplay better in areas where it was lacking. And it's also not in any absolute terms the only new thing showcased in the screenshots, so...why so sour?
Finding a bunch of scripts you like and copy+pasta-ing them into your game as-is isn't an "innovation" or +1 feature, it's the hallmark of shitty VX design. I'm glad that you added an event sprite of a magic circle though, so that there's something other than yanfly scripts that are new

What I mean is the same thing they used in P4 the Animation, to tell as if it's the next day... transition thing.
That's what I meant too. XD You'll go to bed, the datestamp will disappear from the top-right, and then a digital number display rapidly counting off will represent time passing to the next day. In P4, they showed the calendar rotating.

Are you also doing the animation for the day-day transition that P3 and P4 have?
Yeah. I think I'm going to have a digital clock-type animation with numbers running forward (as though counting every millisecond that passes).

It's not really the "Dark Hour" at all - it's a "suppression core break," which usually only happens on the Full Moon. It's Shadow Energy soaking everything, so I envisioned everything would resemble the Dark Hour. Notice I also threw in elements of P4 with the static.

I know the spriting is incredibly patchy. The "Unknown Proctor" turns into like three different people. Any walking animation is just turrible. I also know the compression is awful. D: I feel like it's pretty obvious what's just unfinished vs. poor judgment, but feel free to mention it if you don't. There's some tileset errors here and there during the "dark hour" segment as well... And yes, the sprite for the big shadow boss will be more intimidating than the dinky little VX RTP one. You'll see what I mean. XD Anyway, it's SOMETHING. :B
