Breath of Fire: A Line Ended

Determining how to handle transformations was something the Fated Child team initially struggled with, too. Just try to make it balanced without making it useless, is the advice I'd give you. :D

Another Progress Update

"Off" how? I'm putting together a few color schemes for the options menu, what do you think might be a suitable choice?

Progress!

It wasn't neglected persay, it was just that I needed some outside help with a few things and wasn't having a ton of luck getting it, so I had more time to work on the project that had an actual team.

The Screenshot Topic Returns

Itd be easier if you numbered the blocks and required them to be placed in a specific order.

Try to round out the cliff sides a little more. It looks very "square" right now. Otherwise, it's in good design. I can definitely see a "dungeon" type area like this in the actual Breath of Fire II.

That better be Bunyan's house. =P

cavewalls.png

The cave walls look better. Also, where the cave ground tile ends and the room's floor tile meet, try to blend the two and create a new tile there to transition it. I've done that with a few tiles in some other projects and it works really well. If you want me to do that one for you, let me know.

The diagonal wall tile corners are a LITTLE off, by like one pixel. Editing that should make it smoother. I don't even know if anyone but me would even pay attention to something like that. Just saying. I'm nitpicky about tiles flowing properly.

Breath of Fire: A Line Ended

BoF2 takes place 500 years after BoF1, not exactly "right after."

Also, I'm pretty sure BoF3 does in fact take place in the same world as either 1 or 2... too lazy to go looking it up right now though. Hit up wikipedia.
