Please tell me Godot was added to the site DB specifically for this game. Because it looked worth it.
What are your opinions on the recent Pewdiepie Contryversy?
I don't know enough about him to say he's racist, so it wasn't part of my comment. I think South Park is pretty split on being funny and not funny. It isn't my kind of thing.
His joke was offensive to some and lame. And it's biting him in the ass; that's the risk you run with being "edgy" and popular. I've seen plenty of bad jokes and comedians. Nothing crazy going on here.
My shitbag comment is due to his response, not his joke. Doubling down on his failed joke, complaining about a witch hunt, and cozying up with people who you can make a strong argument are racist, isn't painting him in a better light.

Thanks for the review. One quirk of the game is nearly 20-40 of the NPCs are paid KS backers. And they wrote us a lot immersion breaking dialogue, but we tried to work them in as best we could.
I've noticed a bunch of those; smelled problematic from the KS, haha.

I WANTED to read this whole review, but terrified I'd spoil something about the game. Still in the thick of it, so I'll come back after and read it. :)
What do y'all think about if we had a sticky thread where people can post that there game was accepted?

I don't know that it actually is. I don't know if the site's this way by design, but in general, for the most part, it seems like the front page is for people who play games and the community portal is for people who make them. Those are two very different demographics, and having different sections of the site dedicated to them makes sense.
If the front page isn't doing its job for people who come here to play games, that sucks. But those people don't really come to the forums to say so. Most of them probably don't even have RMN accounts. So to ask them if they think it's working well, you'd need something on the front page.
Developers don't have any clue if the front page is working - they just want their own game to have more visibility. But whether their game deserves more visibility is another matter entirely. Not everything can be featured. Most people's games are shit and don't deserve to even be accepted on RMN, much less put on the front page for more than thirty seconds. Hell, if I were in charge of the submission queue, I would have denied at least three of my own games.
True; there's an inherent dichotomy to the site between players and developers. I don't know if either role is fully optimized. It could be a flaw if the frontpage for a specific person isn't what they want it to be.
