Revive the Dead

I see, that's not an easy problem to solve when you need every terrain to crossfade into each other.

While that sand tile is visually appealing, desert sand only does that without the presence of vegetation (and strong wind), but when you tell someone to draw sand they all make that same wavy pattern (even I do sometimes). It's just kind of weird to me since I live in a desert. Fallout: New Vegas is one of the only games that comes to mind where the sand actually looks like normal desert sand.

Revive the Dead

Looks good and iconic, but what's with the desert border thing going on?

Revive the Dead

RPG20XX is already technically a reanimation since January, but there needs to be a special condition for this event.

I took from the old archive of the RPG Maker 2003 engine replacement the list of completed functionality.

http://rpgmaker.net/users/WolfCoder/locker/require.ods

The old project I killed in 2012 was estimated at 78% complete according to this spreadsheet. The condition for victory will be to reach this level of completeness in RPG20XX commands before the 30th.

RPG20XX only has a few commands right now. Neither had a working battle system, but if the above functionality is implemented with RPG20XX's existing features, a game becomes possible.

M.O.G. Graphics

Pushed back to the first week of November, to (hopefully) generate more submissions and since I wasn't going to be running the next stage of the MOG event until November anyway.

This coincides with my recent decision on RPG20XX, I will participate.

RPG 20XX Engine

It's not a replacement anymore, it stands alone. No part of RPG 20XX has any relation or affiliation whatsoever to any of Enterbrain's intellectual property.

And yes, it runs on new windows.

RPG 20XX Engine

Select Char: FFL

Oh. Yeah. FFL is missing its sprite. That was a test sprite I used and I forgot to remove.

I can't get it to crash though, but I'll get rid of it in the default imports for next time.

RPG 20XX Engine

If you can get it to crash again and narrow down what you actually do to cause the crash, I can use the information to destroy the bug.

0.14 Released

- In the Direction setting in the Step command, if you set it to Up, the next time you go to change it, Up+Right is selected. Only happens with Up. http://i.gyazo.com/5eb1884de82a5ef8d046afb75391820c.mp4

I see that one

- Item name text runoff; prevents longer item names without scaling down the whole font. http://i.gyazo.com/a29a61ff8e80096f13e084983dd722d4.png

That's the current expected behavior.

- Shake command doesn't return view to its original position after ending, so the view stays permanently offset by some amount. http://i.gyazo.com/b2d41d32437552cd440b860ff94603dc.mp4

I see this one

- Teleporting while in the process of moving into another tile causes you to jump to (0,0) and turns everything else black until you stop moving. http://i.gyazo.com/3f69fd7182c36ce466969cb7dc54dbc2.mp4

I can't actually reproduce this one.

- Change Root command to be nth root instead of square root. The Power command works with any exponent, but Root is limited to only square root.

Raise something to the N:0<N<1 power.

- Change \v to allow decimals?

This is actually a known bug to me for a while.

Thanks for checking.

RPG 20XX Editor and Engines (Alpha Test)

Go to your C:\Users\<Name>\AppData\Roaming\rpg20xx folder and delete the stuff inside to reset editor and engine settings.

RPG 20XX Editor and Engines (Alpha Test)

You need to keep the editor folder intact (with /engine /material etc.) and the engine plays 2XG files, not 2XP. This means you have to click the play button for test play.
