Intentionally Bad Games.

It'd probably be more enlightening if we switch this discussion from "should I make an intentionally bad game?" to "why would anyone bother making an intentionally bad game?". Let's dig into their psyche. What do they have in mind?

What are you working on now?

Imagination is more powerful than silly looking battlers.

LOL

Problem with this code [rm2k3]

Well, I know that's an option, but...

It's weird, I wanted the character to be able to pick up an item while walking crazy... Decision key was not working, so I tried making the item a "hero touch" event. It still doesn't work... If the player touches the item while the parallel event is active, nothing happens.

Sonic The Hedgehog 4!!

Oh no... thought it was going to be side-view. :(

Which battle type is good for you?

My favorite by far is Final Fantasy Tactics-like.
I also really like ABS when they're well made, charming, like Secret of Mana.
I like RM2k3 DBS and similars, as long as battles are not too frequent or too long.
I don't like battle systems in which I can't see my characters, like RM2K and RMVX DBS.

What is your all time favorite video game character

I hate that this is so cliche, but...

He's so the typical bad-ass powerful careless cool villain... I'm a sucker for Magus (Chrono Trigger).

Problem with this code [rm2k3]

I'm making a situation in which the character can't move correctly. I make a parallel event that sets:

If you press right button: walk up
Press left button: walk down
Press up button: walk right
Press down button: walk left

I have a key input process with wait until pressed unchecked.

It works fine... BUT
Action buttons (enter, z, space) don't work if this parallel process is active.

How can I fix this? Checking or unchecking the "Decision Key (5)" doesn't make a difference.

[Rm2k3] shift button = instantenous message?

Wow, some things I didn't know. Awesome.

Intentionally Bad Games.

Intentionally or not, bad games are bad, and I wouldn't play it. Simple as that.
I would guess that people who intentionally make bad games are too scared to try and make a good one.
