DOING IT! - WEEK EIGHT - DOUBLE FEATURE!

post=146540
after fending off an assassin he realises he himself isthe long-lost tomato prince

This is actually a bit closer!

re: your character
p-perhaps he is a very eccentric and possibly schizophrenic gentleman capable of speaking with ghosts (and has a wicked unibrow) oh gosh am i right i must know

DOING IT! - WEEK EIGHT - DOUBLE FEATURE!

That is purposely what I tried to make it seem like... because it's incorrect! Though yes he has killed that poor man.

(p.s. i took some liberties translating a VX sprite into a stickman so before anyone asks no he isn't cloud strife with an axe)

DOING IT! - WEEK EIGHT - DOUBLE FEATURE!

A bit more related to the game! (P.S. Not the main character.)

Also, Paint's fill tool sure does suck lol

DOING IT! - WEEK EIGHT - DOUBLE FEATURE!

None of yours are correct either 8D (well except that he's taking something from the chest but it's not a harpoon!)

And yeah I didn't really expect I'd be right. OH WELL

I'm tempted to draw a second picture of a different scene, because it's kind of fun to indulge in my own artistic ineptitude! For some reason.

DOING IT! - WEEK EIGHT - DOUBLE FEATURE!

I am literally the worst at drawing with a mouse.

Not a whole lot to interpret here but hey, it's a scene!

catmitts, that looks like some sort of pirate Cthulu with a wicked unibrow.

Pokemaniac, every character in your first picture looks like it was drawn by a completely different person (well, you know, except the monsters) and it's actually pretty awesome. Your second picture seems to indicate that the warrior applies a lot of mascara and the rogue is capable of changing his entire appearance at will!

Worst boss fights

they introduce cool villains early on and then kill them off halfway through the game and have you fight some generic monster at the end
Ahaha FF9 did this too. (Well, it was more than halfway through the game, but still a bummer.)

out of nowhere a... big blue dude. welp

Worst boss fights

Most people think SH2: Covenant is the best, but I prefer the first one. Covenant is better looking and plays better, but SH had a much darker plot and a scarier/creepier atmosphere. Covenant was still dark, but it felt tuned down in comparison and almost tailer-made for the mainstream. It was noticeably sillier than the first one (but not to the point it became grating). I still loved it, however.

'From The New World' on the other hand...brought the campiness up to eleven and nearly erased everything that made the SH series unique in the first place.
this is how i feel exactly

The worst boss fight for me is Zarathustra in Xenosaga 3. It was my own fault for getting Erde Kaiser Sigma (retarded optional kill-just-about-anything-in-one-hit spell, fyi) and whatever that accessory that makes everything cost 1 MP was called... but still, it literally took me two turns: one to buff spell power (which might have been unnecessary), the other to use EKS. What a thrilling and climactic battle! FOLLOWED BY AN HOUR-LONG CUTSCENE HURG. It also didn't help that having that accessory meant that for the past hour or so every single fight had literally consisted of using EKS and waiting for the victory screen to go away.

To this day I still have no clue what the Zarathustra fight is supposed to be like. I kinda want to try it for real.

Also from Xenosaga 3: The optional Omega fight (forget what it was called... Omega Id, maybe?) wasn't bad, but it did bug me when I accidentally forgot to guard his bullshit attack with my best mech because my friend called me. Going the rest of the battle with the mech that I had ignored the whole game -- and thus had amazingly crippled stats -- wasn't very fun!

LightningLord2 doesn't like our ice puns? Pfft, what a shocker.

(someone had to say it okay)

There is no cure for "umotivated" as in you cannot use a skill or item to remove it, or it can't be healed with even resting (or dying)?
I would think it disappears after battle, given that it prevents experience gain "from the current battle".

(I would really hope so, anyways!)

What are you working on now?

Trying to improve the title screen; at the moment, it looks tacky at best.

Aesthetics is not my forte :<

(still making minimal progress with skills, which is what brought about this sudden distaste for the screen)

edit:

Made it look okay I think, and made a game over screen to accompany it. Still need a good song/sound/etc. for the game over though.
