Release Something: Gotta Go Fast!!!

@Frogge
Interesting take on tic-tac-toe. Though I imagine you'll get some pushback from people since it's such a classic. Be like adding powerups to chess. But forget them because classic tic-tac-toe's always sucked. Yeah I said it. Hope to see what you come up with.

Release Something: Gotta Go Fast!!!

@Deltree
Hagahtahjdsjads!!! Deltree pleeeassseee. I can only subscribe once to your game. Stop showing off its awesomeness. Ridiculously impressive.

@BerryRMN
Goblins in the kitchen. What could go wrong? I like what you're going for. You might want to make the walls a tile higher though since you have some of your pillars and cupboards as two tiles high.

@KatanaHiroshi's feedback
Hopefully one day I'll be able to get a gamepage up for it as well. Getting a lot of behind-the-scenes stuff done. Hoping to get most of that out the way before school starts for me next week. After that...eh it'll be awhile but we'll see how it goes.

@AceOfAce's feedback
Thanks for the offer Ace! If I get a testable build sometime I'll keep that in mind. Yeah, the player will be able to get new suits to wear (armor) at the Outfittery. Every suit will be useful in its own way though.

@LorSquirrel's feedback
Thanks LorSquirrel! I was hoping they looked nice and cozy. Hoping to be able to make a full game out of the visual style. Have some interesting locales planned.

@Frogge's feedback
Thanks! The faces right now are a sort of placeholder. I was debating whether to use them or find someone that could make up some nice sprite faces for me. So we'll see what happens in that regard. Hopefully I can get a demo up sometime this year.

@luiishu535's feedback

Still working on a lot of the locales but this is what I'm going for with the morgue:

@pianotm
Ah, okay. All related songs. That makes more sense. Love that new piece BTW. When that choir kicks in...hell yeah.

And yup! Detective game. Solve cases and catch badguys. It's the Old School Modern pack that came out awhile back. I've made very minor edits here and there but for the most part that's the look I'm going with. Think it's an underrated pack that I'm hoping to get a whole ten hour-ish game out of. We'll see what happens.

Release Something: Gotta Go Fast!!!

Figured I'd post some feedback on the stuff that's been submitted so far. Although I won't be downloading any projects yet. Just looking at pretty pictures while listening to submitted music.

@J-Man
I like it. Always good to see custom graphics and you animated them pretty well. You also seemed to have nailed the feel of some old-school JRPGs. Nice stuff!

@Ocean
Really impressive spritework here! Those overworld icons remind me a lot of Legend Of Mana. They really pop out! Not surprising as you seem to have a knack for custom sprites.

@Liberty
Ooh neat. I've always been a fan of sprites in this style. Milla looks like a badass. Looking forward to anything else on this project!

@eplipswich
Kindergarten the RPG? I can dig it. Interesting looking game to be sure. Hope to see more of it.

@Dyhalto
Interesting exposition there. Seems like a unique setting. Cool.

@InfectionFiles
That's the Mythos Horror Pack or one of the others out there right? I always felt like that style got a bad rap. Good to see someone making use of it. I like the screen shots. I'd play it.

@SgtMettool
You're the guy that made Brave Hero Yuusha right? Nice to see you're sticking with that style. It's a very cute and unique look reminiscent of the old-school. Awesome stuff. The faces are adorable as well! Bravo sir.

@kory_toombs
Looks really neat! It reminds me of Fire Emblem a bit though I haven't played a RPG Maker game that got that type of battle system to work right. Hoping this game will be the exception to that. I'll have to keep my eye on this title.

@Pizza
Is this a gritty reboot of "An American Tail"? Heh. Nah, this looks great! I like the sketch for the rat guy. And damn, that is a really pretty set of sprites! Dang. Giving me Mother 3 flashbacks. I like it!

@Red_Nova
Well that is indeed a shop menu. Fancy. This is for Prayer of the Faithless right? Still need to try that demo. Looking good though!

@unity
Yyyyyeess! Custom battle animations! They're always so neglected I find so it's awesome to see them like this! Also those enemies are so unique and crazy I love them. Definitely going to check out this game you're working on. I mean...damn.

@pianotm
These are pretty nice tracks. Though, they all seem to have the same...what's-it-called...tempo? Beat? Accompaniment? That background sound you know. I guess some more variety there would help? Really great stuff though!

@Kylaila
Lol buttheart. These look pretty good though! Looks like an interesting group of monsters. It'll be cool to see what they look like colored in and all that.

@karins_soulkeeper
Oh so it auto generates parameter and element rate changes on the equip screen? That's pretty cool. Saves room in descriptions for descriptions the way it should be. Props to you.

@zDS
Wow. Now that is some old-school feel right there. Channeling the original Final Fantasy in that tileset. Looks neat!

@Zero3D
Whoa. Those are some funky colors. Not sure how well they work together though. Looks like an action-based battle system. Looks like an interesting project.

@CYBERLOUS
Interesting setting you have this project. I like the music you provided. It's not bad. Hope to hear more about this game in the future.

@AceOfAces
Not going to be downloading anything yet so I can't look at the files you submitted but I like that title screen.

@Punkitt
Ooh. Custom art. Me likey. Looks like an interesting environment and that main character is adorable. Color me intrigued.

@Thunder176
Cool. Looks like your standard fantasy RPG. That minecart ride would not be fun! Don't see any issues with the mapping for the most part. Neat stuff.

Not bad guys. Not bad at all.

Release Something: Gotta Go Fast!!!

Well hey, this is the perfect opportunity to get some feedback on a side project I've been working on before school starts. No artist but I'll post some screen shots of it when I get home. Curious to see what people think.

Half-Off Hero: The World Needs Savings Review

author=Craze
Heh, I've been meaning to try this. Good to hear it's worth my while!

Awesome! Let me know what you think if you get a chance to try it out. Always looking for feedback on my projects. It's a different kind of game so I'm interested in what you have to say.

D is for Dungeon

author=Gretgor
So, a literal dungeon crawler? Sounds epic xD

Heh. Exactly. I got a kick out of the concept when I first thought of it for that reason. Hope you enjoy it! It's pretty well received for a first game.

The Tater fires a...a what? Come on man, don't leave me in suspense! A bullet? A laser? The world needs to know!

Half-Off Hero: The World Needs Savings Review

Ooooohhh snap! My other game's got itself a review! Thanks so much for the kind words! It means a lot. This project was a real departure for me and was quite the learning experience from what I'm used to but I'm glad somebody enjoyed my experimental game for IGMC so much. Especially enough to get all the endings and seem to really have had a great time!

Hopefully one day I can come back to Half-Off Hero and give it some visual and mechanical updates to streamline the whole experience a lot more. We'll see what the future holds because for now school and other projects have my attention. Thanks again good sir/madam!

The reason is because this year is the year evil returns 20 years early.

Well if that's the case then maybe this will be the year that the baby returns...
