I am an old school gamer who loves to create bazaar projects and I specialize in themes and game play.
I have also been running the Crappy Game Reviews for over 4 years now. My old channel was hacked by somebody I used to live with and the games were removed. I have a new channel now.

The game is excellent. Although the timer on sleeping doesn't look too good, I think you should add a time system and have the player keep track of the time that has passed. Also, the exp muscle man is pretty lame lol. But again, the game is great and I can't wait to see what you do with it.
Thank you very much! I'm glad you enjoyed it. Yeah, I added the exp muscle men/women (depending on your gender you chose) because I had that in the original. I felt it was funny and would probably hit home to people who played the rm2k3 game.

AFTERMATH VX - DEMO VERSION 0.1 is currently in testing stages. The Demo is complete and almost all bugs have been eliminated. Get ready for a launch very soon. This version may even come out earlier than the 25th.

The face graphics surprised me, I have not seen that before. Interesting project, I like where this is going. You seem really good at this, but one question, are we going to be naked the whole time(In-Game)? Will we find clothes and have choices on what to wear? Not that the nudity is a problem, bring on the pixel boobies! But, just wondering.
And also, from reading and watching, that big attack happened December 20th, 2012?!?! Heh, that's my birthday! It's also the day before the world ends, according to the 2012 theory. I'm just SOL.
NOTE: This story is sci-fi and not to be taken seriously or to start panicking.
Yeah, that's when it all goes down. The people caught on to their dark plans and revolted before the Dec 21st Holocaust was going to happen. Nibiru, and the other things about 2012 (like the movie) were simply diversions to scare people into staying in their homes on that day with their families when the martial law was going to take place.
At least the revolt caused nuclear war instead of the nightmarish depopulation they were going to put the world through.

You literally gave me inspiration to re-map every single map, to improve my game tenfold. I was debating for days, while keeping updated on you, I've been seeing all this absolute amazing media and I was literally inspired.

I absolutely plan on finishing this game. I can actually handle this project without being overwhelmed. Any free time I have goes to creating it right now. I really enjoy VX, it's made the creation of aftermath a breeze.

Man, that's a lot of "Searching.... found nothing"s you have to program for just about every object in the world.
Yes, I have well over 200 events right now of just things to search. I have added a test map that holds about 40 different types of copy/paste events which handle the sound effects and text for different objects.
It's an actual grid I made of sprites lol.

This is pretty awesome, I've got to admit. Great job.
Thank you. I'm working on adding more destroyed junk. Chairs, Couches, Trashcans etc. Only so much you can fit on these maps but it's getting there.
