I'm looking forward to the review :) Yeah, they can be quite tough to write.
Yeah, especially when trying to be thoughtful and insightful as I try to be.

That would be Saturday. Writing a review is definitely more work than playing since it requires more concentration, but unlike playing you can really take your time to get it right.

I have been played EpiQuest pretty much non-stop since the weekend. I never got inspired to write out the review for Carlsev Saga: Episode I, but I think tonight I need a little break from playing ...
Epiquest V2B is up!
Let me show you what I mean through this sequence of screenshots:

@edchuy - thanks first and foremost.
FIXED in 2C - In the second screen of the mountains, there's this treasure chest and a flashing star near the bottom of some small waterfalls. You can walk across once to get near them, but if you try to do it again you can't reach these treasures.
About the other weird error, where does it occour? Which tunnel?
The tunnel you have to pass to get to the mountains. Right after getting passed the tolltaker.

Demos are usually all that a creator's attention span can muster before they either A) quit. B) have a new idea C) continue with life outside RPGM
I agree with this. Worse yet, are the project that are just vaporware. I would suggest developers read this article written by Neok to keep themselves interested/motivated:

Perhaps I'll eventually will do one for gameplayers as well, since they also give up easily! (Unless you are playing something like Zero's Impossible Fortress, which, by the way, I haven't even bothered to try.) It's crazy having people writing reviews of games that haven't exactly finished. I, for one, wouldn't do it.

This is excellent. This is what I meant Max McGee's playlist to be like, but I just haven't had the time.
The last thing ShortStar said is right. Shit, it's true for me and I'm one of the complete-game-makingest guys around.
Yeah, MM, thanks for the head up. Hopefully I will be able to refine this topic in time, but for now, it'll have to do. Glad you're in the completed games club. I think your issue might be managing too many projects at the same time. I imagine that, though, might be advantageous to not get bored on just developing one. Especially, having to playtest over and over your game must be somewhat of a chore. At least you can choose another project at any time. In addition to playing games made by others. I definitely respect developers who choose to give the light of day to try other people's work.

Edchuy posted a really useful guide to the strengths and weaknesses of each class.
Yeah, I played through with the seven different options available. I probably died twice total, so if the game was ridiculous to play, the count should be much higher. The only thing you can't avoid is being disabled, since you are helpless during those turn(s).
Also, a strategy that somewhat contraintuitive is returning to the save points, healing and recharging stations whenever possible to keep the integrity and battery levels high. Also, once you are able to use the healing module, you can use it instead of healing items in between items. If you happen to be close to a recharging station, you can basically heal at no cost, provided you reequip before recharging. The weapons chosen for melee attack also have a great influence on how hard the battles are.

Another very weird issue:
When you the area you enter through a shaft just before the exit of the tunnels, you'll end up back in the area of the exit but not at the shaft's entrance. Instead you are 1 step below the exit of the tunnels. You can't go down so going up results in exit the tunnel. Once outside, you don't exit to the road, but rather 1 step into the mountains. Since you can't up, if you go down, you'll hear the sound of when you're leaving somewhere, but are on top of the exit of the tunnels. If you go down to the road, you can continue normally. This one doesn't break the game, but just behaves strangely!

So I started up the game and was beset by a dire lack of capitalization or... interesting dialogue. I understand that this might not be your strong point, but NPCs were utterly and completely trivial as well. "I am on patrol" does not a good soldier make.
:<
Yeah, but some of the other NPCs now say useful things. You should have played the earlier demo ... :-D
Also, I already found your contributions to the game. Although, for the shrine I have already reported an issue to SS. I found the cave enemies to be too strong for the party I had, so I"ll have to revisit it later!
