Finished playing and posted feedback for Pizza Panic. Will be playing catmitts' Frog World RPG (http://rpgmaker.net/games/1940/ ) next.
Pizza Panic
Here's my feedback after the playing the game twice, mostly comments and observations:
To game players: WARNING, CONTAINS SPOILERS.
- This must be the smallest file size for a complete RM2k game since Don's Adventures.
- I found some of the background music is different than the standard RTP and that included in other RM2k games.
- It is unusual to have no weapon at the start and yet able to fight.
- Having vending machines to sell you items is a good idea. The items you can purchase at the second machine are unexpected. I was only able to use one of them.
- The arcade building looked messed up, warped at corners.
- I checked the website that the guy in the custom in the arcade mentioned. It's dead. I guess I'll never be able to play that game.
- How you implement the scan reminded me of Terminator. Interesting that it scans all enemies on screen, one at a time and gives lots of information.
- I guess as warned, the guards have a single thought mind.
- Your visualization for Jump is interesting (I have only a few RPGs in RMN with something similar and usually the job they have done with it is not as good.). Is that a sword coming out at the bottom of the shoes? Interestingly it is a multi-enemy attack.
- What kind of cafe offer fish and some blue colored food, and, serves the same function as an inn?
- What does IDF stand for?
- I got the carapace and tooth to get gear upgrades. They made battle with guardian easy. Did notice the freebies you got in that fight and the final one. Thanks.
- Asking the order # was good, since many players just scroll quickly through the dialogue and would probably miss the information.
- I agree that the pizzeria is the best map of the game.
- Photon kinesis has the same animation as Laser blast, but it's much weaker. I found the latter can blind.
- The attack that dragon used to damage that can damage both HP and SP is not very commonly used in RPGs. Thanks to that I got to use your freebies.
- I guess his Brandon's friends don't know the hell he went through get them their food.

Suito Homu: The Second Cooking... Fried
OK, thanks for addressing my questions and comments. Sounds like you have a little work to do! The only thing I will add something about the active ATB: hopefully the pace you instead for your battles is not too hectic, because in that can be chaotic. As you have it currently, I can deal with. Good luck on working to move this game forward!

Thanks a lot for the help and pointing out the bugs you found. I've now (hopefully) addressed each problem you brought up and am happy to announce the new and improved FIXERERED version. Hopefully there's no more game-breakers, though there are a few minor mistakes here and there that I'm getting to.
Thank you both!
OK. I'll go ahead and wait for it to be accepted by RMN. I'll do a replay with this new version and let you know if I find any other significant issues (hopefully not, minor ones are understandable). I'll also make sure to check your new version looks like the screenshots you have posted. Let's say that I have found plugging missing files (which hopefully I won't need to do this time) for RM2k3 sometimes has some weird graphical results that look nothing as was what people have posted in the Images section of their game.

I just posted the feedback for outlander145's Suito Homu: The Second Coming (Secondary Early Techstration) demo in the corresponding blog. Next, I'll be playing EnderX's Pizza Panic.
Suito Homu: The Second Cooking... Fried
OK. Here's my feedback, mostly comments and some questions I wrote as I played it, regarding your demo:
- I have never heard about the original Sweet Home game. I found this information that I used for reference:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sweet_Home_%28video_game%29
- Do you intend to replicate some of the gameplay features mentioned? I think the first two mentioned are definitely interesting, while the third would be hard but not impossible to implement, but it's up to you ...
- I had to try a couple of RM2k3 RTPs for the game to work. The one that did let me play it was 1.08 version french translation. The only thing it seems to have messed up was when Ex Treey ask you if you want to fight him, he does it in French.
- Who are the characters in your party in your demo? How will team choice affect the game's development?
- I see why you put the option to skip dialogue in the tournament, since it's pretty much irrelevant.
- Some of the moves your characters have in battle remind of some silly old school kung fu movies (I am not as familiar with those of the MK franchise). I see why the screenshoot can do justice to how wicked some of them are.
- In the celebration at the end of fights, your members seem to be on something (although I have seen worse in other RPGs).
- For Nanette, you could use some sort of creepy Sprite instead of a stone statue (not scary at all!)
- What's the deal with the dog at the lobby? When you talk to it, it teams up with you for the caterpillar you attempt in the demo.
- When charging SP during battles, it sounds like somebody's passing a stone.
- Interesting what you did to handle walking under the wooden bridges.
- The battle system is active ATB, right?
- Is SOR2 Alley supposed to be some sort of bonus section or separate game?
- Will you cap off levels at 20 for the actual game?
- What is that status affliction you get with Flash? said PSN.
- EX Treey is the only somewhat threatening enemy in the demo because of this use of Flash and higher speed (about two turns per one of yours.
- If Anthony runs out of SP, the only way to recovers them is using pills, right?
- The different attacks don't seem to differ too much in the amount of damage they do.

review my bladder
As long as I don't have to do a manual prostate exam! (cue the fake laugh soundtrack)
Oh GTFO.
It's seems you have your work cut out for you. I now understand why you had to cut down your ambitions for the game (a matter of quality vs. quantity). Since I just play the games but don't make I'm sorry I can help you with the particular issues you are facing. Perhaps you can get some help from some other RMN members if you post in the forums. I guess using somebody else's scripts puts you at the mercy of what they did, without the understand of how they work. Good luck on getting your project forward!
