I'm gonna have to agree on this one. Locke, a great way to get him to stop will be to ignore him. Why do you think I never responded to him in the first place?

Yeah, this is slip-sliding down into the hell of unfun that is another gamer-gate discussion. It was interesting while it lasted, but I'm bailing for my own peace-of-mind. I'ma go work on a game where awesome ladies be awesome ;)

How do you feel about only one gender as playable characters

as for how i feel about the topic? i don't give a fuck about all-dude games anymore. i have played so many games that are either all or mostly dudes that, like... fuck i don't care anymore, i'm so bored with it. i know i'm not going to get a triple a game that's all or mostly or even an equal number of women that doesn't treat the women like sex objects, so this is one of the reasons i make games and get really excited about games by people like unity.
give me women interacting with other women in ways that aren't shitty and tropey and pitting them against each other, okay? that is the way to fix this problem.

The couch placement is kinda wierd on the rug? like normally i'd see the rug as the centerpiece that really holds the room together (HEH), not the couch holding the room-holder down

There are no inns, actually! The countries in Origin have free healthcare so you can hit up a doctor's office whenever you like and get healed ~for free~.
And look making out with guys is more likely to induce the Dazzled or Stunned status effect, so it's probably better not to do that unless you're feeling a-okay. >__>

Ha ha ha one of the most important character relationships is two dudes who were SUPER IN LOVE and are now VERY BITTER EXES with each other, and how that affects the people around them. What ends up happening there (do they make peace? Do they hook back up? Do they literally kill each other? WHAT GO ON) ends up being decided by the player, since I'm going for a SUPER loose canon ending (aka there is a Custom Affection System; more on that once I actually have it implemented).
Also I wasn't kidding when I said literally everyone except for one character is bisexual, and she's a lesbian. Basically IT IS SHIPPING MADNESS IN HERE you can ship or not ship to your heart's content. You can even get an OT3 ending. >w>
Plus, this is a world in which queer relationships and genders are just A Thing, so you will absolutely come across random NPCs that have a partner that is the same gender as they are, or you'll find trans folks just walking around being trans. You even have two trans characters on your party (Demi and Wes), and there are two very important NPCs that are trans (Jada and a monarch that doesn't show up until Act 2).
S-SO THE SHORT ANSWER TO YOUR QUESTION: there is no queerbaiting in here, this is a very Yes Homo game.
