Blood Haze: Reborn

Just a couple of things to report.
If you leave the Tower and go into the house where Bo is, when you leave the house the Tower has vanished. You have to leave the map and re-enter to get it back. Though probably the chances of anyone except me wandering over to the house, just in case, is too small to bother with.
More importantly, there is a wall which is supposed to be released by walking in the correct pattern over tiles which crack under you (only way I can think of describing the location of the wall). You can, in fact, walk through that wall as if it's not there.
Think I've only got God to go now, but am doing a last patrol all over the Tower to see which side alleys I've missed, if any.

Someone actually beat the game, yay! I'm gonna say you're the first one. (and hopefully not the last ;p )
Once the tower appears, you can enter it so long as you have the full pendant and showed it to "Bo" at his house. No need to beat the main game to enter the tower.

Hadn't realised I was the first!

You say "once the tower appears" - but where does it appear? And who is Bo? sorry to be so dumb on this, but I never noticed it coming up as an option anywhere.

Blood Haze: Reborn

Have completed the main game and now have the bonus bit - though I won't have much time to play for several days now. This has been a really satisfying game to play, and has made it to the "keep, because it's worth re-playing" category. Thanks very much for all your hard work. Once I've finished the bonus section, I'll try and find the time to write a review.

EDIT
I got the long cut scene after the credits, and the Blood Haze 2 title screen. I was then taken back to the main menu, which was fine by me because I didn't want to continue playing just at that moment. However, when I open the game I'm back before the fight with Satan. Does this mean that I don't get to the Tower unless I go through all that again? I got all the pendant pieces, so I assumed there was nothing else I needed to do. Did I miss something else?

It's the hardest boss in the game for sure (at least for me it is)

Well, if even you found it hard I don't feel so bad about it .

equipping everyone with Life Bringer rings if you have those to take care of the permanent Virus ailment taking away HP. (You can craft them using Asmodeus' essences)

That was the bit I hadn't thought of; it made such a difference.

Thanks a lot for your help on this. Now onwards and upwards!

Blood Haze: Reborn

I had thought that I was at least an average player, but I'm beginning to think that maybe I'm not. I am being slaughtered by the fly in hell. Tried everything I can think of. Any hint on how to defeat it?

Blood Haze: Reborn

Ah the satisfaction of seeing Marlene go down! I think it wasn't the lack of levels but of CP so that I could learn the top level skills, and I could only get that at the Arena. Don't think I could have done it otherwise, so if you are thinking of tinkering with that dungeon to make up for the missing floors, perhaps that's what's needed?

EDIT
Have only now remembered about the runaway girl - the one who had the creepy doll. Went to the cave east of the woods, and could see her running, twice. However, when I caught up with her in the room which had Chernobog in it, she seems to be stuck. No matter how I check her, she just stands there. Is this because I forgot to get her earlier in the game, or is there a bug here?

Could you also tell me what level you were when you first reached the top? While I think the EXP and CP boosts I gave the mobs while removing 3 floors of the now-not-so-tedious-dungeon Tartarus was enough, I could be wrong. Just want to make sure that I don't need to make any adjustments to the EXP rate in that dungeon.
Lvl 43-46 is generally what I intend for people to be at that spot, though in the end gear and skill setups matter more than just levels.

I think I was 47 or 48 - didn't write it down and now leveled up at the Arena, so can't be sure.

Blood Haze: Reborn

Thanks for the very helpful description of the mansion. Got through it and am now stuck at the top of the Cathedral utterly unable to defeat Marlene. Have to go back to the arena and try and level up some more, but actually, I think it's more that I can't work out the sequence of weaknesses. Then the demon arrives and I'm toast.

By the way, think you've given us an excellent game.

EDIT
Just spotted something. In the 'Spiritual Reunion' fight in the Arena, the enemies cast Mana Drain. However, what's being drained down is HP.

Blood Haze: Reborn

OK, I admit it, I'm a failure! Still going round and round trying to find out what to do with the clock hand. Can't see a clock, can't find a way to open the 'odd wall' in the left hand room. Just totally stumped.

EDIT
You must have been typing same time as me, as your post appeared only after I finished mine. I'd appreciate a guide. Thanks

Blood Haze: Reborn

Thanks for the info. Yes, I am where you thought - and like a fool, I'd been in that room, but hadn't read the note. I've just failed RPG101.

However, I've gone round and round and round in the mansion in the new section of forest, pressing stones on the wall and getting absolutely nowhere.
