Rogue-likes for the Less Hardcore
I've played a few roguelikes in recent years, like Shiren the Wanderer, Binding of Isaac, Rogue Legacy, Dungeons of Dredmor. I was wondering if anyone knows of other good roguelikes, preferably ones that aren't brutally hard.
Favorite NES Games
Been playing some classic NES games lately. Mega Man 3, Legacy of the Wizard. I was curious what other people consider to be their favorite NES games.

What Videogames Are You Playing Right Now?

But isn't it? Not only is it an amazingly faithful adaptation of a television/movie franchise (I swear, at one point you'll feel like you're playing a South Park movie), but it's got good mechanics to boot.
The Stick of Truth is probably the most faithful video game adaptation of any fictional work I've ever played. Can't say I'm as thrilled with it as most people are, though. No specific complaints, just hasn't wowed me. Maybe that will change later.

The only other way to make enemies drop items is by using events and layers, but you'd need the enemy to stand still for it to look natural.

There aren't a whole lot of options when it comes to making bosses in SMBX. Normally I just resprite one of the boss NPCs and try to design a good boss arena.
