Having bronchitis sucks. ;_;

@ed: My b-day is on Saturday. XD

Yeah, uncontrollable coughing does suck...

Enelysion

Ah, the usual bugs. >< There are always a couple that I happen to overlook. But as long as they don't cause the player to rage-quit, I'm happy. XD Those are the worst sort of bugs. But I'm happy that you're enjoying it so far. Then again, after three years of development, players should be getting some form of joy out of the game.

As for me, I'm working on EvII now.

This screen basically sums up what will happen in Vol II.

And there is a cheap trick to defeating most bosses in the game, including Avinchii ( he's my favourite boss so far, and the Eos Shrine was my favourite area to design )

Long live Avinchiiiiii. XD

Old Demo Ver 1.0

I like to stick to my deadlines. =)

Updated the Hints page with solutions to the two Shrine puzzles ( since I know players will get stuck XD ).

1000th download! Yay!

I was thinking of making Vol II ( or; as it will now be known, EvII ) standalone. I wanted to redo quite a number of things, including the database ( if any of you have actually opened up the game in RMVX, you will find that it is a bit of a mess XD ) and rehauling some features like I mentioned in the OP.

While production on EvI was slow, I should be able to crank out Vol II at a faster rate, having far more experience with the engine than what I had when I started the project more than three years ago. Truth be told, most of EvI's cycle was delayed due to endless graphical revamps, rather than actual progress on the story. I can only thank the stars above I am not using the parallax mapping technique. Otherwise, this game would have been nowhere close to completion.

As for the idea of expansions, I was thinking along the lines of new maps, quests for EvI. Basically, things that introduce replay value. However, I won't touch this until I've done a good portion of EvII.

So for now, I will probably focus on getting Lady of the Lion to around 6 or so hours of gameplay ( my target is 20 hours, so I have a lot of work ahead >< ). But like I said, I value feedback. LoTL's testing phase is even more intense than EvI's since I can't afford to muck up stuff if I'm planning a 20 hour epic.

And I seriously need to do a separate website for my games now. Seeing as I can't have more than 6 primary pages here. :3 I'll notify you guys when I have a Wordpress/Tumblr site up.

Your Game and Music

Most of Enelysion's 57 tracks are in .ogg format ( only 3 tracks come from commercial games though ) and that gives me around 138 mb or around 70% of the game's actual size. And I'd stay far, far away from the .wav format. File sizes are ridiculously large.

Nelson Mandela Dies at 95 :(

He was ill since June ( suffering from a lung complaint he developed while still on Robben Island ). A fighter until the very end. :(

Whatchu Workin' On? Tell us!

Wrapping up the final demo for Lady of the Lion. Then I can resume working on Vol II for Enelysion.

Er... an intro at last?

I'm in mourning... So I will be subdued for the rest of the day. ;_;
