What causes us to stop making our projects?
I feel like I suffer from imposter syndrome. I find myself hating my earlier works despite it being well-received, and always wonder why people kick up a fuss about my maps when its one of the easiest things/skills to master in RPGMaker. But I'm my own worse critic as well, so take that with a grain of salt. Of course, this creates a vicious cycle where I find myself redoing works over and over again, or I find myself resenting the more popular works on this site.
So I'm just keeping my head down and quietly work on my games. I feel it is better that way for me to just concentrate on the task at hand, rather than checking RMN every few hours to see if you got a notice or two for your game...

It was before I took the custom route. Besides, Rome wasn't built in a day, Addit. =)
And I think you'll like Striker.

I've wanted to start a commerical game for a long time now, but the more I read about the steps, the more intimidated I feel about it all.
I dunno. I could make a killing if I ever went commercial, what with the SA Rand 16:1 to the US Dollar. But I mainly do this for fun, and that's what counts in the end, I guess. ^^

TP stands for 'Training Points' btw, since JP ( Job Points ) wouldn't really make any sense, since there is no Job system. XD ( Yes, I'm aware of the JP Up. Should be TP Up ).
What are you thinking about? (game development edition)
Brainstorming a potential idea for a commercial game while at work. A love letter to the classic Phantasy Star games, but with yuri. Yeah.
I think I just prefer writing romantic two-girl friendships; more appealing to me. So they'd be literal star-crossed lovers, with the main character going on a galaxy-romping quest to find her missing girlfriend.
Plus, we really need more sci-fi fantasies. :D
