VX's limitations is the sole reason it's still my favourite engine, despite the fact that I've toyed with XP, VXAce and MV. I'll probably still continue making games in it long after I've completed my current game.

Also, 16% done only. >< When I get to 25% I should do a little war dance. Which is around 6,25 hours of gameplay...

Smaller or Larger Maps

I suppose I could let you in on a secret as to how I go about making 60x60 maps. I start with the default size, then use the under-used shift-map function as I expand it, adding more details all the while and moving the map around as I please. I never make a 60x60 grid and start from there. ;)
