@Fanatik007: Hmm, have you tried playing it on another laptop or PC perhaps? It's weird, because it's the first time that something like this has been reported, so I'm thinking it's something to do with your PC.

It's nice to see you going to a different approach when it comes to the VX colour palette, but you may want to increase the contrast slighty. It will make quite a difference to the cave tiles. :)

It may be due to my drawing style as well, or the way I hold my pencil when sketching. Left-handers do sometimes slant slightly when writing or drawing. I've noticed it on all my artworks ( all my characters... lean slightly ).

Hmm... some cacti wouldn't go amiss either. I think you should also tone down the brightness of the screen, by only a small amount. It's a bit glaring towards the top. :)

@emmy: Yes, and I am happy with the current portraits. :) Maybe a few months down the line I'll look at them and say, "Wow, was it really that bad? REDRAW!" but now isn't the time for that. Lest you guys want this project to go on the dreaded 'Hiatus' status... ><
EDIT: Once Laine's portrait looks as good as this, will I only be truly happy. ^^ But that's several months from now. Damn, does Fire Emblem have some fine portrait work. That's Laine's Expy, btw. ^^

@NicoB: That does look a lot better! Thank you. :) Guess it was her left eye being a bit too big, since this is 3/4 view, after all, so one eye should've been smaller than the other.
@Dyhalto: Yes, I spotted the slight lean as well, but I don't think there's much I can do about that right now. If I flip her, I can spot the errors better, but yeah. I really don't want to get caught in a cycle of redrawing things. >< It's really going to delay production alot.
