So. It's been a while.
That was a lovely read, BL. I know exactly what it's like to undertake a labour of love for a project (Enelysion took nearly four years to complete ) but I never thought of going commercial with an RM game( and I doubt I ever will ) since it seems like such a cut-throat industry. I too, always wanted to make pretty-looking polished games that play well. And I still do. =)

Well, that was a brain-fart on my part, now wasn't it. >< But I won't be jumping on the hype-train regardless. I find it extremely hard to get pumped up about anything tbh. I'm just passive like that.

I have to chuckle a bit everyime someone mistakes my 'made-in-editor' maps for parallax fests.
XD Makes you wonder if some noobs even know what parallaxing even means. They just see, "Oh, what a pretty map!" and think it was done via parallaxing.
Whatchu Workin' On? Tell us!
Began the rather arduous task of populating the first ( and rather large, aka 75x68 tiles ) city in LoTL. I mentioned it in my last blog post, but I'm focusing on making a few large cities that can really draw the player into the game world, rather than making ten 5 minute-long snorefests of towns that populate so many RM games.
I have overcome my writer's block somewhat, but only because I forced myself to write something, anything, no matter how mundane it might have seemed.

It is one of my favourite scenes so far. Though it probably would have been perfect if they had little hearts over their heads and holding hands. <3

God... given how weak the Rand is against the US dollar, MV will cost me over 1000 bucks. And I still have to finish a pretty big project in VX. >< Then again, I'm not that desperate for the engine.
I'm not jumping on the hype-wagon like every Tom, Dick and Harry over at RMWebs.
Edit: Though the engine is coming out on my brother's birthday but he isn't into gam mak like I am. XD
