Post a fun fact... about yourself!
Another thing: I was once mistaken for a 16 year-old just recently ( I'm 27, but I'm barely 1.6m tall and have a very youthful face ). I can also do graphical art with both my left and right hands, but I'm not ambidextrous. And I don't have a single degree to my name ( I'm self taught in nearly everything I do ).

Verbatim from JK Rowling herself after she finished Deathly Hallows.
"I've never felt such a mixture of extreme emotions in my life, never dreamed I could feel simultaneously heartbroken and euphoric."
=) We all feel somewhat like this towards the end of a project that is very close to our hearts, Uni.

So you're nearing the end of the road, eh? Do you feel happy or sad about it, Uni? I know I was a bit depressed when I wrapped up Enelysion.
Free Spirits
Time is marching on yes, but still best of luck to you three ( I was your first subber too ^^ ). Don't forget to dedicate at least a week for testing. Wouldn't want a beautiful looking game like this to be 'bugged' out of the competition.
Tristian: Lady of the Lion Review
@BM: Well, if you're doing a rated-review score, I wouldn't say no. :p But I am in the midst of a slight rewrite because things are a little... all over the show atm due to 'demo compression'.
And yes, regarding my pixel art, I only started around Jan last year. Actually, in comparison to Accelerated World ( also did in a pixel-art style ) the difference is quite noticeable. Granted, I was going for a more minimalist approach there, but I am happy so far with what I've achieved ( trees are tricky to get right though, as are cliff tiles >< ).

Tristian: Lady of the Lion
Plox rewrite... for death or glory!
As for the new character ages, Tristian is now 22, Ianna is 17, going on 18 ( it is tied more to the whole 'coming of age to rule' rather than Ianna's actual naievete; 23 was just a tad too old to take reign for me, though there have obviously been lots of real-life exceptions, but this is Tristy so-- ), and Perc is probably around 21 or so, making them some of my youngest characters ever.
The whole age reduction also allows me to play with a little more character development. By taking Tristian out of the whole 'experienced bad-ass knight and a veteran of at least one war scenario', she would be thrust into her first ever major war at such a young age, forcing her to re-analyse some things ( such as her chivalric take on the knight's moral code, her excessive pride and the 'romanticised' view on war ). But more of this will become known when I put up her biography, along with everyone else's. =)

A clash of ideas
Oh, I have my priorities set now. I'm canning my entry and going to focus on Tristian now due to a number of reasons ( time constraint, a lack of interest in the general theme and other factors I won't get into atm ). It's no biggie for me; the whole reason for the IGMC is for people to get off their lazy arses and actually finish at least one game in their lifetime, but I've finished at least three so far, and I don't need the lure of a prize to compel me to finish something.
So... IGMC 2015
I'm dropping out of this as well. I started late ( July 15th ) and I am kidding myself if I can finish on time. The IGMC is about having fun as well, but I've just been slogging away at my entry, so--. I'll have more fun trying to finish up my magnum opus, Tristian.
Maybe next year.

Yes, Em, you are right in that. I do have a lot of fun writing Tristianna ( and even the other characters like Darcy and Trabant, who still have to appear ) and it shows ( ahem, the yuri is a bonus, mind you XD ).
The game might require another slight rewrite ( this will be the 3rd time I'm doing it, but I'm not too fussed; after all Tolkien wrote LoTR 11 times before he was happy with his manuscript, and I always wanted to just write about you know, character relationships.
I'm also pulling out of the IGMC. 11 days in and I'm really not having much fun with it. So it is in my best interests to take a bow and wait until next year. =)
