What's your day job? Talk about it!
I'm in construction, working as a buyer for the company. Order materials, send them to suppliers, make sure the sites receive the building materials. The company is currently busy with around 4 jobs, and the company tendered for a job in Antarctica as well ( a refurbishment of an existing research base ), so I'll probably have a lot on my plate soon. ><
I work 8:15 - 17:00, get home at around 17:30 or a bit later. So my gam-mak time nowadays is very limited.

What are you thinking about right now?
Going inside Laine's head
I did get lucky with this game, Addit. Very lucky. Explains why some people think the 'hype' around the game is undeserved.

Something real old, but--

If they really had a problem with the game's pacing/characterisation, why didn't they mention it when I was asking for feedback/criticism? Why didn't they point it out? Seriously... But no, like with virtually every other game on that site that is not made by a 'cool cat'/popular member, it gets ignored. No wonder some devs come here for feedback. I saw an amazing commercial game called the 'Amber Throne' ( which I was following while still a member there back in mid-2012 and it was still non-commercial ) that received a shockingly low number of replies/views, yet another comm-game made by a well-known member of staff got plenty.
Oh well, hopefully the IGMC entry will fix up all those glaring issues. But I am worried about its reception, since GameDev Fort seemed to be populated with RMWebers, who already hold a poor opinion on Enelysion ( at least, the 'cool' kids do ).
Bit ranty, but I needed to get it off my chest.
IGMC entry will just be titled 'Self'.

How did your first game turn out?
It was a crappy fan-game I made when I got RMXP in Jan 2009. I managed to get about 12 hours of it done before scrapping it completely.
Whatchu Workin' On? Tell us!
Finished up the 1st dungeon for my IGMC entry ( a prequel to Enelysion ), balanced a few battles, item distribution and skill-learning in the non-traditional sense ( levels are fixed, so Laine never gains stats/skills the normal way ). Just waiting for the game page to be approved, then I can start posting updates there. In the meantime, I'll be doing new artwork since I obviously can't use the ones for the original game.
Hard juggling an IGMC entry while working full-time, but I can wing it. I wanted to make custom graphics but I realise it would be a waste of time when the gameplay and writing at this point is far more important than making a game look good ( most of the entries I'm seeing over at GameDev Fort seem to be falling into this pit. )

Getting some IGMC work done at last. Screens aren't finalised though. May need to change a few things to make it 'commercial friendly'. Mainly sticking to Mack/RTP stuff.

What's games are your favorites or any that you really like or love? Or have any that you would recommend as well?
PS4 for all the reasons Sooz mentioned. It got me into playing RPGs in the first place. And the reason I love kick-ass females in video games ( or why I design them ). And I still want to see an RM script that replicates its battle-system to the T ( I've seen one for RMXP, but that was just for the visual style ).
Most of my favourite games tend to be on the Genny with the exception of FF12. And I have never played Mario or Zelda in my life ( shoot me ).
Shining Force II:
Still better than any Fire Emblem game I've ever played. So many memorable fights there ( that bloody Kraken and that chess stage for one... ), a lovely visual style, fun battles. I was totally willing to overlook the general clicheness of the game's plot.
Gunstar Heroes:
Over the top shooter/platform action that was just so much fun. And that soundtrack.
FF12:
Kawazau's design choices aside, I loved the game's sense of grandeur and scope, its immense world-building, Sakimoto's soundtrack, Balthier etc. etc. And Yiazmat. Can't forget Yiazmat.
