Been busy with school starting. So how's the development train been going? Seems like you guys have made a lot of progress in the last few months.

Yes! I love state animations, it makes a game feel so much more alive. Although it can be a little ridiculous once they stack.
Affinity System
You could tailor the affinity of each character as another type of experience you receive after battle. Sort of like skill points in certain rpgs that accumulate before you can master a skill.
New Items, Cid's Tools, and Synthesis
I agree pretty fresh idea. I liked a lot of the other systems you had with other characters, its good to see the protag, get some love too.
