SBESTER'S PROFILE
I've been an active member for quite a few years now. I started my RMN career by releasing the Eden Legacy Trilogy of games (each entry took 4 months of nonstop work) within one year, and I've gradually shifted to creating other games as well. I now have 3 flagship series: Eden Legacy, Fragile Hearts, and Mafiosi (being remade for commercial release as Crime Opera). I'm pretty much solely focused on the Crime Opera series of visual novels right now, as my band and job currently take up most of my free time.
Currently working on
-Crime Opera Trilogy (Mafiosi 1, 2, & 3 edited, with all original resources)

One Night 2: The Beyond
Iron Gaia
Sorry dude, I died at the Aether Nightwurm and didn't want to go through that huge cutscene all over again. Wasn't too bad up to that point, especially for an older game. I think that particular enemy heals himself way too often, and replenishes way too much health.
Eden Legacy: A Knight of Eden Review
Thanks for the great review! I'm glad you had fun with it, and it sounds like you were pretty thorough in your play through!
I agree with your idea about skill descriptions, and I'm most likely going to be adding them to the level up system for the sequel. Also, I'm sorry about the walkthrough (I assume you used the old, unfinished one?). I finally finished it the other day so it's now available and (hopefully) a lot better.
About the sequel, it WILL get finished, I promise you that. However, it will be quite a different experience, so it will need to be played with an open mind.

One Night 2: Special Edition
A way to differentiate reviews whether it's for the demo or the full game?
The review system is f'd in more ways than just this. Best to forget about it and accept things the way they are. It's still the best system of any RM site out there, so wutevs.
Most Anticipated RM Games (2010)
post=137091Anyway, I had no idea that J-Man had so many fans!@Max McGee - I'm just as suprised as you are... >_>;
You've dedicated many years to a single universe, and proven time and again that you finish making your games. It shouldn't be that surprising.
Speak No Evil Review
Game stopping bugs are a critical offense, so I don't disagree with the score. However, rather than write a review I'd tell the creator so he can take the download down and fix it.
Vacant Sky Vol. 1: Contention Review
I'm determined to play these after act iii is released.
But I'm a bit confused... are acts i-iii together part 1 of a trilogy? Or do the acts represent each individual part of the trilogy?

Most Anticipated RM Games (2010)
post=137002post=137000Only about 10% of games listed in RMN are canceled, so you must have some bad luck!
Every time I anticipate any RM game ever, it always ends up getting a cancellation.
Projects that look the most impressive (in many cases technically or graphically superior) are the ones that get canceled most because they require more work, so this bad luck may be rationalized for many people.
