SBESTER'S PROFILE
I've been an active member for quite a few years now. I started my RMN career by releasing the Eden Legacy Trilogy of games (each entry took 4 months of nonstop work) within one year, and I've gradually shifted to creating other games as well. I now have 3 flagship series: Eden Legacy, Fragile Hearts, and Mafiosi (being remade for commercial release as Crime Opera). I'm pretty much solely focused on the Crime Opera series of visual novels right now, as my band and job currently take up most of my free time.
Currently working on
-Crime Opera Trilogy (Mafiosi 1, 2, & 3 edited, with all original resources)

How'd you decide on a game title?
I started with "Knights of Eden", found out there was already an RM game with that title, changed to "A Knight of Eden", then "Legacy of Eden: A Knight of Eden", then "Eden Legacy: A Knight of Eden".
Basically, I don't know how I choose my awful titles and I should probably get someone else to start doing it for me : )

Yeah for some reason it wouldn't let me use it as the title screen... it was the right size and format, so I'm not sure what happened there. For now I suppose it's just the advertisement "poster" for the game.
Eden Legacy: A Knight of Eden Review
Thank you very much for posing this here Amerikevicius! I'm glad you're pleased with the game! And thank you for that teleportation flaw at the beginning of your review, it is best for people to be aware of these problems before diving in. I hope to address your concerns for the Deluxe Edition, which should be ready within the month!
Sorry you didn't have fun Corfaisus. By your description, you have the broken version (where the boat gets stuck). I had a terrible first couple of days when I first released the game (I've never released a full game b4) and unfortunately early downloaders like yourself were met with these awful glitches. Amerikavicius seems to have the fixed version, and so far I have not received any notifications of any game breaking bugs. I do sincerely apologize for the bugged versions that came out a day before the fixed one, and hopefully I'll be better prepared next time I release something.

Dumbest thing that you have seen on the news.
Girls problem need advice
So one time my buddy picked up this gorgeous girl from the bar, and they went back to her place. They were making out all hot and heavy and she asked him to stay over, so he was pretty happy. They get to her bedroom, get into bed, and she's like "G'night".
He was a little confused. So he proceeds anyway. She pushes him to his side of the bed and tells him to go to sleep. Naturally, he's thinking this chick is a total doodle tease, so he has to be more subtle. So he wraps his arms around her and tries to cuddle, she says "am I gonna have to kick you out of here, mister?" - and so he wakes up the next day to an empty apartment.
LOL
Sorry, I just thought this was the perfect thread for that awkward story.

Games and Why You Make Them
Yeah that's not hard to believe. It's disappointing if someone hates your game but I can't see why that would stop you from making it. Even if I'm the only one who likes one of my games, as long as I find some enjoyment in playing it, or even just the act of making it, it would be kinda dumb to give up on it. It isn't like you can't improve the project as you progress anyway. Just listen to feedback and go from there (or if you don't have any, wutevs).
I have a whole slew of games that I've made over the last 10 years that I've never released, nor do I really care to. I don't regret making them at all, even if I'm the only one who will ever play them. Making games can be entirely for yourself.

What Videogames Are You Playing Right Now?
Tell Craze: Why is your RPG Fun?
The real FUN part about my game is that your character is very customizable and the player is thus able to choose the level of difficulty, speed of progression, and story arcs of the game. It is a real "Role Playing" experience, I believe.
Also, I wanted to make a game with no real "grinding" required. I hate having to leave a certain dungeon to go back to town and buy potions or whatnot, or to stay in one area because monsters are too difficult. I THINK I found a way to resolve that problem with this game, but some people like grinding so as stated before, fun is a very subjective term.
I think we try and take our personal fun factor perspectives and implement them into our games as best we can, regardless of the audience. That is why some games have both 1 and 5 start reviews.
