SBESTER'S PROFILE
I've been an active member for quite a few years now. I started my RMN career by releasing the Eden Legacy Trilogy of games (each entry took 4 months of nonstop work) within one year, and I've gradually shifted to creating other games as well. I now have 3 flagship series: Eden Legacy, Fragile Hearts, and Mafiosi (being remade for commercial release as Crime Opera). I'm pretty much solely focused on the Crime Opera series of visual novels right now, as my band and job currently take up most of my free time.
Currently working on
-Crime Opera Trilogy (Mafiosi 1, 2, & 3 edited, with all original resources)
-It's a secret...

Fragile Hearts
Shin-Chan, eh? I will definitely look into that (I've been devouring anime series lately).
It's funny you should mention the stealth area. The sequel has an area that sounds to be exactly as you've described! I'll probably consult with you on it, since I haven't quite finished with it yet!

Beta Testing New Version
That would be greatly appreciated, Arlyeon! While all the new content is only seen in Episode 8 (except for the special attacks during combat, and the newly added stat bonuses throughout), I think the balancing is much better overall, bugs like the Pet collars not working have been fixed, and I've edited some cutscenes that looked a bit wonky as well.
For those who do not want to replay the game over again, I'll be keeping two separate savestates during this playthrough, each choosing complete opposite ending choices so that they can experience both routes in the sequel.
Lastly, I'm going to make a quick cheats page rather than rewriting the walkthrough for the new version. Players will be rewarded in the final town for finding certain items along the way, so it'll help to note where to find them.

Mortals of Midgard
Woohoo, it's up! Looks even better than you described!
It actually kinda reminds me of Avernum but with bigger designs. I LOVED Avernum! I also got more pissed at it than any other game ever. But that didn't stop me from sinking 75+ hours into beating it :P

Episode 7 now, very close to the end!
Fixed a few more things along the way that I hadn't noticed before. I'm really pretty happy with how this is turning out!

RMN v4.3 is live!
Demo ready. Ask for a link!

I'll still take any criticism people have, but I am aware of the graphical failures already so mentioning them might be kinda moot.
Were you interested in the demo, Marrend? I saw you post earlier but wasn't sure if you wanted the link.

I don't do introductions!
Looking Back: Iron Gaia Series
I remember those days when Iron Gaia 2 looked to be the next shiny new thing on the rm scene. It was disappointing to hear what happened to it.
I was personally intrigued by projects like the Starseed games (especially Blood Machine), concluding episodes of To Arms, and the seemingly original Journeyman... but alas, it seems they shared the same fate as IG2. For someone as involved with RM and the RMN scene as Max is... I just wish he'd buckle down and finish a game again, instead of starting new ones all the time that are ultimately abandoned after a few vocal critics voice their discouragement. We all have cancelled games, but at a certain point, fans just begin to lose their faith in you. It's high time to win that trust back.
