SBESTER'S PROFILE
I've been an active member for quite a few years now. I started my RMN career by releasing the Eden Legacy Trilogy of games (each entry took 4 months of nonstop work) within one year, and I've gradually shifted to creating other games as well. I now have 3 flagship series: Eden Legacy, Fragile Hearts, and Mafiosi (being remade for commercial release as Crime Opera). I'm pretty much solely focused on the Crime Opera series of visual novels right now, as my band and job currently take up most of my free time.
Currently working on
-Crime Opera Trilogy (Mafiosi 1, 2, & 3 edited, with all original resources)

DBZ - Raging Pride Review
I watched the video and these are some of my positive thoughts that you neglected to mention in the review.
-LOVED the message box graphics.
-Graphically captures the spirit and atmosphere of the show
-Lots of areas to explore and people to talk to.
Your friend is a jerk who insults the creator on a personal level, and it's clear he wanted to hate the game before even playing it. You don't sound much more enthusiastic ("the creator should feel bad for making this" isn't helpful or constructive on any level, and you're playing a fanmade rm game based on DBZ, so were you really expecting a professional quality game?). I would suggest trying to be more positive in your reviews, but it's pretty obvious that you wrote this review to hurt his feelings and nothing more.
What makes me absolutely sick about this is that most of the major design flaws that you point out (lack of direction, balancing issues and long battles, bad font, lack of skills) seem like they would be easy fixes, and could be easily implemented if someone would courteously inform the creator of their opinion instead of shitting all over it with this sorry excuse for a review. All you've done here is try to encourage the author to quit, seemingly on purpose.
With some work, this could be fixed into an excellent fan game.

Polymorphous Perversity (18+ NWS)
In regards to the whole tranny debate earlier, I just don't see how certain groups and stereotypes should be off limits when it comes to comedic or satirical works. Even my LIGHT COMEDY game pokes fun at fatties, trannies, prostitutes, and pervs (actually, this is all pretty typical in most comedic anime series). We need "chill pills" (possibly to be put in our achievement folders) on RMN to be rewarded to those who clearly need to take one.
Arbiters From Another World
You've come a long way in just under a year, and from what I've played of this, I'm actually really liking it. Should we expect Konae Detective Agency to be worked on in the upcoming months?
NaGaDeMo Review Drive
Currently working my way through Arbiters From Another World by Marrend. Should get to the review pretty soon!
Facesforce Western Let's Play Chanel (Will take Requests)
This thread is severely underrated, you do a pretty damned good job on these! I'll be making a request in the future for sure!
Story line Maker Event
Woah, 3 achievements in one night! Thanks all! And to think it took me all of like 10 minutes to write :)
Why the new version matters
I should also mention, the game will be quite a bit larger than previous versions since the sequel has been built into the project. One could open it up in the rm2k3 program and take a gander at FH2's progress, and perhaps even play some of it if they placed the starting point correctly... but I recommend waiting til it's done.
Final Blog
Haha well with side projects like these, if I don't put limits on production time and effort, I think they'd just sit there and never be completed like so many other unfinished games on this site. Obviously, with Esoterica, I only had a month to do it for the contest. With this one I allowed myself more time to slack off and not worry about it, but it still saw about the same production time all in all (which was always the plan).
I do put forth 100% on my 2 flagship series (despite the minimalism used in the Eden Legacy games), for which all of my RM ambition is directed towards. I hope you give Fragile Hearts a try someday, as I am and always will be extremely proud of it (just putting the finishing touches on version 1.3 atm).
