SBESTER'S PROFILE

I've been an active member for quite a few years now. I started my RMN career by releasing the Eden Legacy Trilogy of games (each entry took 4 months of nonstop work) within one year, and I've gradually shifted to creating other games as well. I now have 3 flagship series: Eden Legacy, Fragile Hearts, and Mafiosi (being remade for commercial release as Crime Opera). I'm pretty much solely focused on the Crime Opera series of visual novels right now, as my band and job currently take up most of my free time.

Currently working on
-Crime Opera Trilogy (Mafiosi 1, 2, & 3 edited, with all original resources)
-It's a secret...
Crime Opera II: The Floo...
The kids have grown up, and they're becoming quite dangerous.

Hero's Quest 2 Review

I'm just going to say it straight out: this review is arguably the worst thing I have ever read.

Only kidding. You do make a few attempts to give some actual feedback here.

Honestly though, this is your only written review for the site and it gives the worst possible score, not to mention the repetitious idea of "lolz it sucks". Most people will probably look at your profile and figure you just like to bitch, or that you just love to advertise the fact that an inexperienced author made a really poorly designed game (Omfg, really?!?!). Anyone can look at the game's profile and realize that it's made by an inexperienced developer, there's just no need to pour salt in the wound. If you really want to encourage someone to improve their game, it's sometimes better to take the few suggestions you have for them and post it to the game's wall, or even shoot them a PM.

Anyways, I do look forward to reading some more positive reviews from you in the future.

*brain explodes*.

Bad games you love any ways.

The Way of the Samuraiseries (specifically 1 and 3) is probably the best example of legitimately bad games (omfg don't get me started) that I love anyway (collecting swords (fighting styles) is so addictive that I will put up with what is essentially an All Star Team of bad game design ideas to do it, even if the games frequently cause me controller biting frustration).

I have played through them hundreds of times while fully aware they are terrible.

Totally agree, I just booted up the first one on a PS2 emulator last month and I've played through it 3 different ways already.

I would also add MASS EFFECT 2 to the list. Really horrid game that is only enjoyable because of the first game being so awesome.

Is anyone working on a romance RPG at the moment?

The Rare/Obscure RM Games Request Topic

I wasn't even aware he did lol. I've only played the first one so far myself. It's kinda funny though, for all the effort RPGAdvocate put into writing such crazy dialogue, it's absolutely full of spelling and grammar errors.

I may have a couple I didn't see on your rpgmaker list, chosenfew. I'll have a look at a few of my old cds and see if I still have them.

You're surely welcome, Archeia!

Holy crap, chosenfew! Let's have those other lists as well please :)

Surreality: Fabrication Of Time

Yeah, I wanted to take this route with Esoterica around the middle of the story, but due to the time constraints of the contest it kinda became a jumbled mess and the battles also left a lot to be desired. I'm glad you like this approach better, as I think it's much more suiting to this type of storytelling. I'm not sure how I'll go about the third iteration, but I'm definitely leaning more towards this one.

Finished Games 2012

Officially giving up on MGS: The Twin Snakes. It is without a doubt the WORST game I've ever had the displeasure of playing/watching, and I hate you if you like it. And the creators should probably die.

I like it.
