Help with my sprites?

I think the legs could be a bit longer but other than that I think it looks good.

Help with my sprites?

They are monster sprites, but they'll have to walk around on tiles. I was just wondering if it would look odd or not.
Hmm, I don't think they should but I'm not quite sure. Someone who uses VX should answer that for you.

The slime and ahriman are 32x32 right now, while the ogre is at 48x64. When these are adjusted out later to make them all uniform, will dimensions of 48x64 be problematic with standard tilesets in VX?
I'm a bit confused, I thought these were monster sprites not tileset sprites.

Your shading is actually pretty good especially for the slime and the ariman sprites. If you applied the same principles to your ogre sprite it would turn out better. Another thing I noticed is that in your concept drawing of the ogre the torso was a lot longer and the feet were also longer, if you could apply these to your ogre sprite it would look a lot more like an ogre.

The ogre's tunic needs to hang down, the sprite version looks a bit like a dress and you have clearly shaded the chest wrong for a male. The chest should look a bit more square-ish and more wider at the top then it should come down with no rounded bumps.

I don't think Drule had anything to do with people leaving or if it did it was a small minority. I only left because it stopped giving a crap about game making in general and just devolved into some troll community.
There's been some discussion about taking it back towards indie gaming again, which is why I thought you guys might be interested..
Well that really depends to be honest. If you could just rewind time and set GW back to the good old days(about year 2002 circa) when everyone was enthusiastic about making their own games then it would be cool, but whether that happens or not is really up to the GW community.

I don't think it will happen to be honest but if it does, some members might not come back anyway because they have already settled down here on RMN

@supremewarrior: Hm, I ran the game from the RPG Maker so I didn't need to set a host application. But I will add that too.

When I tried to build and run before setting a host application, I got a message about a host application needed to be set before the plugin can be run. So I googled that message and did the above and it worked for me that way.

EDIT: I know this is probably a C++ question, I have searched around but I don't understand a few things.
If I do RPG::battler* battler->conditions.size. RPG::battler* is a pointer data type? battler->conditions.size is the battler object using the conditions.size method?

Is it equalivant to the java statement: RPG battler = conditions.size? without the pointer? I'm a bit confused :s

@Cherry: Your getting started tutorial was exactly what I needed and it's great but you forgot to mention a few things. You didn't mention how to select a host application in Code::Blocks in order to build and run the plugin. In this case it should be your game's RPG_RT.exe.

You can add this to your getting started tutorial:
In Code::Blocks, click Project and click Set program's arguments...
In the Host Application textbox copy and paste the directory to your game's RPG_RT.exe or find it by clicking on the folder icon beside the text box, once you have selected your game's RPG_RT.exe click ok and press F9 to build and run your plugin.

I was able to successfully make my first plugin using your tutorial. Thank you once again Cherry.

The Screenshot Topic Returns

@s_w: I like both? I don't think it's a big deal but I seem to prefer the face of the left one than the face of the right one, but I prefer the right one's body. I think if you were to swap the head with the body it would prob make a good combination.

These actually sound like pretty good working conditions for China.
What the hell? Good working conditions?
