I am CashmereCat now.

Twisted baubles replace my brain and I am toxic yet nice. There's a lot to me, but also not a lot going on up there, they say. PM me because I love attention, I do interviews, I do reviews, I do stuff. Here for the long haul. Gotta hustle.

I'm working on whatever I'm working on, and I love RPG Maker games that aren't traditional RPGs. Puzzlers, interactive stories, but nothing too abstract that'll weird me out. Just give me a polished gem and I'll stare at it for days, marveling at the way the light reflects just right, inner inflections, potato top pie.

I want to make games with you.

An RM Venture

Thanks unity for playing my game, much appreciated. Good luck to the rest of the entries in the contest too. I've played a few and so far they are pretty brilliant. Nice work, people.

An RM Venture

Looking forward to playing these games. By the way, who are the judges?

An RM Venture

Yay, I finished my little comical action-puzzle-RPG joke game. Beautiful, nonsensical success.

Download Tale Of Alice (No RTP) here (1MB)

(I kinda had to upload the no RTP version just in case I didn't get it in on time. Apologies.)

An RM Venture

Wait, is there one more hour? If so, I'll polish my game a bit more (lol) and upload a version that includes RTP.

An RM Venture

<removed because I realized we have an hour left lol.>

An RM Venture

Unfortunately Trapped isn't going to make it in time for the contest. Although I have plenty of fun entries to try now so it isn't all that sad. :)

(i didn't think I had enough time but an hour will do. ;))

Scratch my earlier comment, this game is really easy. I just hadn't played enough of the game yet. My impatience knows no bounds! I was only at about the 3rd battle and had a couple of game overs, so I quit (me, the quitter). But after leveling up, things get way easier.

It's also a really cool game.

@Byah I think the second part was actually a parody so it's supposed to be quick and easy.

The second half's battle system is so much less interesting than the first, though! No elemental advantages, and you basically spam the same skill over and over again. So it's like a parody more than anything.

Wow this might be the most gorgeous VX Ace game I've seen.

Eric's Day Off

Brilliantly funny with nice polish. The sideview battle system is a bit slow with the animations, though. And 8 steps for random encounters? Seriously? Way too many. I'd make it 16, more like.

Also, there is one fatal flaw: the track for "Swamp Resort 2" is missing. So you might want to fix that bug for the contest.

But other than that it is hilarious, with a nice ending and clever dialogue throughout.
