THATBENNYGUY'S PROFILE

I am CashmereCat now.

~~~
Twisted baubles replace my brain and I am toxic yet nice. There's a lot to me, but also not a lot going on up there, they say. PM me because I love attention, I do interviews, I do reviews, I do stuff. Here for the long haul. Gotta hustle.
I'm working on whatever I'm working on, and I love RPG Maker games that aren't traditional RPGs. Puzzlers, interactive stories, but nothing too abstract that'll weird me out. Just give me a polished gem and I'll stare at it for days, marveling at the way the light reflects just right, inner inflections, potato top pie.
I want to make games with you.
[Poll] Who will win Misaos 2013
I was actually waiting for a topic like this. But I was thinking more along the lines of everyone posts games that they think are underrated and should win certain awards. Firstly, it provides exposure to games that deserve attention. Secondly, it informs peoples' opinion to make the Misaos as democratic a process as possible. I would have created such a thread but I didn't know if kentona would be making one like last year. So I didn't. But I still think it'd be useful.
[Poll] Who will win Misaos 2013
If Homework Salesman wins simply because people are ignorant of the other entries, I think that would be a shame. I encourage people to go out and at least play a few popular or well-reviewed titles rather than just simply voting the only game they've played out of ignorance.
[Poll] Who will win Misaos 2013
I'm predicting Fey or Phantom Legacy will take the cup.
Other contenders are: Rust and Blood, Suzy and freedom, Labyrinthine Dreams, The Drop, The God of Crawling Eyes, Happy Birthday, Enelysion.
Most promising demo: Blood Shard or BoutallesTogether.
Edit: Actually, Reincarnation will probably take the demo category due to its sheer popularity, though it's debatable whether it should.
Yay thanks! I wonder what I'll get left with...
Probably a game from the Steam store
My basic mapping commandments
This is extremely useful advice about mapping. I think it's good to recognize that maps should be functional as well as visually pleasing. It's no use having a visually arresting map if you find it hard even walking through it, or seeing where you're going, right? I also learned the hard way about the dangers of using Khas' Lighting System. I mean, it's a cool script, really, but it's just hard to use without it being overly distracting. And you can use it to try and disguise bad mapping, but it'll show in the end.
Excellent tutorial.
Looks good but where's the DL link?
All jokes aside, congrats to the winners. One can never have too many reviews.
Back to the Dudesoft--- I mean, Future!
Enelysion Ver 1.3
I think I'll play this and post a review. Wish me luck!
Clock of Atonement
Just played this game, it's extremely short, small file download size and it's a really good story. Thoroughly recommended 10/10.
