I am CashmereCat now.

Twisted baubles replace my brain and I am toxic yet nice. There's a lot to me, but also not a lot going on up there, they say. PM me because I love attention, I do interviews, I do reviews, I do stuff. Here for the long haul. Gotta hustle.
I'm working on whatever I'm working on, and I love RPG Maker games that aren't traditional RPGs. Puzzlers, interactive stories, but nothing too abstract that'll weird me out. Just give me a polished gem and I'll stare at it for days, marveling at the way the light reflects just right, inner inflections, potato top pie.
I want to make games with you.

Just making a 2-player puzzle game, originally made for the Fall Festival contest on RMW but I'm gonna make it a bigger game.

All Hallows' Event 2013
Congrats all round for this event. I was particularly impressed by "Suzy and freedom", "Rust and Blood" and "The God of Crawling Eyes", along with honourable mentions for "Subject" and "Teenage Costume Squad" (why is grinding so fun in this). Also much thanks to the judges for being so ultra quick, especially Fomar who reviewed games like a champ. I'd like to see each judges' rankings afterwards, even if it's just for analytical purposes.
This event made me realize common mistakes I make when I make games, so I'm going to remake my game the way it was supposed to be, using the reviews I have got as a basis for making it how I wanted. Thanks to everyone involved, and I am definitely signing up to more like this in the future.

Better description of the game than my own
"Don’t forget to check out SnowOwl’s other games, too, like Reap and Sow and Skinwalker."

Mention anything Silent Hill, and get a free instant erection from SnowOwl. Joking aside, the game looks cool and very trippy. Keep up the good work.
Autumnal Dreams
Just played this game. It was short, beautiful and fricking awesome. Some of the best puzzle design I've experienced this year. Lots of "aha" moments. Sweet story too.
Hope you win the contest!

Suzy and freedom Review
By fake difficulty I mean that it was difficult but only because you keep falling 10 stories every time you make a little mistake. Not because it's a particularly difficult puzzle to solve, but because one small move wrong and you're punished by a couple minutes of re-traversal. With the falling puzzle it wasn't fake difficulty, because if you did it wrong you could just try again from the point that mattered.
Also the movement in the climb puzzle wasn't predictable, maybe to you, because I spent 15-20 minutes in that puzzle and I still wasn't sure whether I would jump 2 or 3 blocks, or fall in that gap. It may be obvious to you as a developer but we as the player can't read your mind.

In truth, I was very excited about how the climb puzzled turned out to be, and how much diversity and challenge I could add to it. But afraid that it could be a little hard for players, I lowered the difficulty greatly, and that was BEFORE you tested. After you tested, I not only added the catching block on the left side, but also a top block that eliminated the one part of the puzzle in which interaction between the two was REQUIRED, since it made that final part more difficult, and someone got stuck there while testing.
Yeah, that said, perhaps it was because the level took too long to get to the top and you fell down several stories very frequently due to mistakes. Also due to the lack of co-operation between the two as Artbane said.
On the other hand, I really enjoyed the puzzle where the two were falling because it felt like there was more predictable strategy regarding that. You knew exactly where they would fall, so you could plan, "no I can't go there, and I can go there, but oh look they're on top of each other and that's not good I need them next to each other" kind of strategy. That was a puzzle that I would have liked to have seen developed further, and it was also fairly difficult. My trouble with "Love" was not that it was difficult, because I like difficult. It was that it was unfairly difficult, and used fake difficulty to lengthen the time it took to solve the puzzle. I swear if I had not had to fall several stories every time I made a mistake I would have finished the puzzle in a quicker time than previously. Because as you said, it is a simple puzzle once you get the hang of it. But getting the hang of it takes a looong time (15-20min in my experience). It's the frustration of the puzzle more than anything, and not the good kind of frustration either, it's frustration at design choices that make the puzzle harder than it should be.
