THATBENNYGUY'S PROFILE

I am CashmereCat now.

~~~
Twisted baubles replace my brain and I am toxic yet nice. There's a lot to me, but also not a lot going on up there, they say. PM me because I love attention, I do interviews, I do reviews, I do stuff. Here for the long haul. Gotta hustle.
I'm working on whatever I'm working on, and I love RPG Maker games that aren't traditional RPGs. Puzzlers, interactive stories, but nothing too abstract that'll weird me out. Just give me a polished gem and I'll stare at it for days, marveling at the way the light reflects just right, inner inflections, potato top pie.
I want to make games with you.
Just so you know, a piano like that is supposed to take up 2x2 tiles. Which means that it's either an impossible structure or embedded into the wall in this screenshot. I believe it is intended be neither.
Edit: Wait, you've done it with the cupboards too. It must be a stylistic choice. Albeit, I would say, a bad one.
Thunder, rain and lightning
Alright that thunder is extremely loud. Turn it down a bit man. Knocked me out of my chair.
Edit: I love the way the thunder makes everything visible for a short moment though. Cool weather effects. Just turn the volume down a bit :)
Pom Gets Wi-Fi
To be fair I feel there has been a period of relative inactivity on RMN in general after the hallows event finished. Pom fans are probably the only ones making the world go round atm.
I wasn't necessarily attacking that post, but yeah, this post is pretty dickish. I'm just generally a pretty dickish person all-round. Close the post, pls.
Edit: My bad.
The Screenshot Topic Returns
I actually noticed that when I put them down. I'll try putting those black parts as transparent. Maybe they were originally meant to be transparent, I just didn't choose black as a transparent colour :I
Difficulty
What I think is happening is that people don't have much patience for minigames and challenging gameplay in story-based games.
Not the case at all. I have plenty of patience, I would have spent hours on a puzzle if it was good. Heck, your puzzle isn't long at all. It's just it takes 15-20 minutes when it should take 2 minutes based on its simplicity. It's just finnicky things that pose fake difficulty. Rust and Blood had puzzles that you had to strategise more than this puzzle. I'm not sure why you're not admitting that the puzzle doesn't require that much effort to complete, but still a lot of patience because it's just not well designed. I didn't mind dying and going back the previous save in Rust and Blood because it *worked for the game*. This doesn't work for this game. I don't mean to be harsh but this is just what I feel about the game. I don't like the puzzle because it's difficult, it's not very difficult at all. It's just difficult to finish because of finnicky controls, and silly design decisions. Sorry, man.
Subject
Very cool, I just made a review of this game. Nominated for Best Setting (experimental facility FTW).
Edit: removed he he.... oops.
Nice catches, LockeZ. Looks like I'm going to be doing a bit of tileset editing, and rethinking the depth of my cliffs.
Thanks for your help :)
