Thanks for the ideas! Although I must say some of them sound...uh...like something Stormy Daniels would star in. LOL.
Help with name for Valkyrie game.
I'm making a valkyrie game with working title of Valkyrie Tower. I hate that name and need a much better name. I also have two other ideas "Valkyrie Rising" and "Valkyrie Ascension". Not too happy with those either.
So. Any ideas appreciated. If your idea is used you will be credited under Special Thanks and get a free copy of the game. Only these few simple restrictions:
1. The name must have the word "Valkyrie" in it somewhere.
2. It could be short or long. e.g. "Valkyrie Profile: Covenant of the Plume" is fine.

Goals for 2019
1. Make a commercially successful RM game. What counts as commercially successful? Well, a game that makes more than my current salary. (Wait...now that I think about it, that’s not too hard...)
2. Make a commercially successful Unity game. In case RM doesn’t work out.
3. Stay healthy. Sincerely. 2018 was a bad year for me health wise and really made me rethink some of my poor life choices. So everyone, take good care of yourself. Let us all have a healthy 2019. :)
Since we’re making new year resolutions, let’s make some big ones too:
Goals before 2029, assuming both this site and I are still hanging around:
1. Win the Misaos. Because it’s worth it.
2. Make 10 million dollars off of making games. Because why not. XD

Einherjar Review
Thanks so much for the review! So I swung by RMN and was like What? Einherjar is buzzing? Einherjar?
A lot of work went into this game by several people (it was a team effort), but like you said correctly, steam kinda ran out after the contest ended, so it remained in its more or less contest form.
Because the judging period of the contest was only 1 hour, the pacing for this game, especially regarding Einherjar collection, was a bit rushed. I think it would've been more appropriate if the player collected the 30+ Einherjar over a 5~6 hour game.
Why Brooke? Because I feel sorry for her archetype. XD You know how in teen drama there's the cliche of that one queen blonde bee-atch who picks on the nerdy (but really quite beautiful after she gets makeover) main protagonist? And in the end that blonde bimbo always gets her just desserts? Bad things happen to her etc and as a society we condemn her.
Well, what if she isn't as bad as she seems? What if she just needs the right nudge to make her a good person? That was the theme I wanted to explore.
Anyways, I'm glad you enjoyed the game. Maybe we will polish or expand upon this in the future. Thanks!

Well, our team submitted too. Will be sure to put up a RMN page too once I get my energy back. :D
I guess the good part of the IGMC is that it reminds me to return to RM once again after a long hiatus. Still, I can't help but feel that IGMC seems to be a smaller and smaller event every year. You guys think so too?
Remember back in 2015 everything was really good? There were lots of different awards, a whole site was setup, got vibrant review threads; we even got cheating, flame wars and scandals: It was very fun. I missed that.
In 2017 it was a lot quieter. And this year...wow...you can hear the crickets. Heck we're even missing Indrah'sShark Tank Best Games List.

The really amazing thing Quidget managed to pull off is that it’s a game with strong sexual references, and its related full game Penininja, which Quidget unabashedly markets, is an adult game. Normally you would think a game like this is flirting dangerously with disqualification.
Making our entry we were always worried whether something would offend the judges or cause us to get axed. And we would take it out. Quidget seemed to walk that tightrope well. I think Quidget will always be a comparison yardstick on how much you can get away with if done intelligently and tastefully.
