Lunar Wish: Orbs Of Fate is an indie role-playing game developed by LusterMX for the RPG fan community. It provides a unique experience unlike other RPGs in the community and has been made to provide the most complete and fulfilling downloadable gameplay experiences players can enjoy.
One of the elements which set Lunar Wish: Orbs of Fate apart from other games of its genre is that it does not feature a clear main protagonist, despite initial impressions of leading characters. This has been implemented to allow each and every one of the characters to develop and expand at their own pace; the progression of the storyline is also unique in this respect as each of the characters has a significant part to play in the plot. There is no hierarchy within Lunar Wish: each character is considered integral to the overall storyline and gameplay experience. As a result, the game itself is rich in character development and is supplemented by surprising twists and unexpected methods of progression, which are guaranteed to take the player on their own journey of discovery as they play along with the characters. Comedic elements are also continually employed, to give the game its characteristic feel and tone through the character’s voices. While on the surface, Lunar Wish may seem like an innocuous, unexciting RPG, but in reality it does well to subvert the player’s expectations of the standard RPG template.
The gameplay schematic of Lunar Wish was designed to be as simple to understand and play as possible. This was done so that even players who are unfamiliar with the RPG genre could start playing immediately and allow themselves to immerse themselves in the world of Lunar Wish. There are no complex systems to learn and the learning curve is kept minimal as to allow as much of the game to shine through as possible. Skill Trees are used within the game to obtain new skills: this system allows the player to further expand their experience with the game as they progress and become more familiar with the game’s structure. As the characters learn new skills and become more adept in battle, as does the player. The simplistic yet effective system of each character focusing on a different element, tactic and strategy means that battling is always enjoyable without ever being overwhelming.
Lunar Wish is ideally suited to casual gamers, but the prime difficulty level means that there are always new challenges ready to surprise and test the player’s ability to think on their feet. Lunar Wish succeeds in bridging the gap between simplicity and difficulty which is a common problem amongst many games of this genre.
Lunar Wish: Orbs Of Fate has been in development for 5 long gruelling years and is truly a labour of love devoted to members of the RPG fanbase community. It has finally been completed as of 27th April 2013. Estimates would place the total game time at just over 12 hours, but take note that Orbs of Fate is just the first part of an epic duo of RPG games, the second of which will be coming very soon. I hope you enjoy playing Lunar Wish: Orbs of Fate just as much as I enjoyed making and developing it. Happy playing!

Came to a moment where Cindy got cold and geez...she talks so cutely! Cindy is the definition of 'cute' now that I think about it. I also like Fate, somewhat reminds me of Fang from Final Fantasy XIII.
Why couldn't I kill that #@&$%@#& girl in the Arrowseye Village? WHY!?
COOL COOKIES!!!
Well, it would seem that you're nearing the end of the game (with a spectacular 100% by the looks of it). You playing has actually been massive inspiration for the next part so thank you so much for that! I'm going to make The Rebellion extra good now... I... I shall not let you down :)
And 20 hours? I'm really surprised at how much you seem to be liking my game XD. It brings a tear to my eye :')
PS. Sorry about Fate's ultimate being a pain.

And with this I finally complete all the character's ultimate 1-piece equipments.
Reeeeeaaaaly hard finding those ultra marine drops ahaha so it took some time. :) Anyway here they are:

Falk-Natasha-Cindy

Fate-Saber-Nya

Arc-Kestrel-Myst

Ah by the way, beach stone is categorized as a special item so is it important on the 2nd installation of your game or does it have some use in this version?

Venna-Kross

My thoughts on Kross:

Umm, I discovered this while I was hunting for those ultra marine drops, is it a game feature where a character(Kross) can use buffs outside of battle? Because with this Kross can buff the party with the "power III & spirit III" buff and have an advantage it any battle(exploit, I think) plus once Kross learns the skill "Donation" he can actually fill the entire party's SP supply after battle. Sample: entire party after random encounter -> falk, tash, cindy has red health and almost zero SP -> Kross uses Recover until party health is full -> Kross uses donation to fill Party Member's SP(including himself) rinse and repeat, by doing this you no longer need any items thus making the game very easy. Well at least until you can get Kross in the game, but still this feature is highly exploitable.

Well that's everything I found sir Luster, I hope you the best of luck! And thank you very much for creating such an epic game! XD Really Really Reeeeeaally Like the game! :D

I think I'm going to make a hall of fame page for all those that have complete the game. And Kaze, I think you rightfully deserve top spot on that :P
Do you think you can post a screenshot of your statistics from the credits scene (if it's not too much trouble)?

It'll be my honor to be on your game's hall of fame Sir Luster! :D

Ah! and here's a screenie of my statistics(I think I only got 95% since even though I finished the side quest on collecting all the 7 coke flavors the quest tab still shows it as unfinished.)

Umm and sorry for not posting this earlier. I kinda went to sleep after my last post, since ya know I played Lunar straight after I downloaded it :P Oh! and another thing! I transfered my save files from ver 1.00 to 1.01 -> I was surprised when both Falk and Tash had higher HP pools than before.
Sounds like a promising game. I'm not going to post too much since I cannot yet play it (I've been rather busy, and my schedule doesn't clear up for another 2-3 weeks). I will say I like the skill tree idea since those are always nice, and I do like the sound of you getting control of various different characters as you go along (admittingly, sticking with one party is a bad habit of mine).

At any rate, I can't say too much until I get time here in just a few weeks (which should give you some time to flush out all the known bugs). Don't relax afterwords though, because plenty of people can vouch on me being an extremely good tester. At any rate, sounds like a very well developed game and I cant wait till I get time to play it.

Off topic: The title makes me think of the lunar series, though theres probably no relation.
@SigArms
Grey Chunks can be found from Spring Rabbits in the Midnight Field.

@Kaze
Boss Death Count only 2? XD, well that's a lot less than even me :P
I've added you to the new Hall of Fame page!

@Demonlord5000

I'm just glad you're able to give it a go! (However, in making this I didn't know a 'lunar' series existed, so yeah... It has NO relation to it.)
I never forgot about this game, Luster :) It's awesome that you've finally completed your game after 5 years(I thought my about 2,5 years was long lol). Congrats! I've started playing it and I like it! There are some things that concern me though :/
1. I remember from playing the demo that the game got a plenty amount of quests, both sides and main quests. Now, the only quest I've got is from the girl in Avale that wants you to buy here a teddy bear. Maybe I'm not that far into the game but I thought atleast there would be more sidequests earlier.
2. It's only happened in the early beginning, but what happened is: I leveled up my party, for example, Falk and Tash to Lv. 3. The next day, when I leveled up, I leveled up to lv. 2, or maybe it was even 1. So from night to night, my partymembers levels had decreased and my skill points went negative :/ It hasn't happened again(I've just reached Avale). So that's good news, maybe it only occured in the beginning when the party members switched around a lot, I dunno xD

On the other side, the game is great and I'm gonna play some more! I just wanted to make sure the game wasn't broken or anything. Also, worth noting, I downloaded the recent updated version and started a new game from there.
Thanks so much for playing Luiishu!
About the sidequests, I'm unable to add any to Applon Village because you can't return there for a while, but other than that - I agree. I should probably add more (but for another time).
Oh, so that glitch does happen to other people. Y'know, it's really weird because I'm unable to recreate that glitch and I'm playing from the downloaded version everyone else is playing from. I have absolutely no idea what could be causing it (and I didn't tick the initialize button either). I'll look more into it later and hopefully it should be fixed in V1.02
Umm, actually sir luster about the glitch on de-levelling I think it occurs when you run around a certain spot from between applon village and balvarin path, including the first area of balvarin path. It actually occurred to me when my characters were still around level 30, I was hunting green goo at the time.

I think I also found another bug bout Kross- seems like he can't equip amulet-type accessories (no double exp for Dr. Kross T_T)
Okay, that's good to hear that I'm not having any problems with the sidequests :) Also, I heard that there was going to be a part 2 to the series. If so, will it be like a new sequel you start over or will it be entirely connected to the first one? Like you can copy the save file from part 1 and continue directly from where you left off. Otherwise, it will turn out great! :) Really enjoying the game so far!

I've added you to the new Hall of Fame page!

WOOHOO!! Hall of fame! XD

Hmm, oh yea about the boss death count Sir Luster, I think- no definitely had more than 10 boss death counts -> the reason why it displays only 2 is because everytime I die on a boss battle I continue from my save file rather than trying again after I lose to a boss battle. I do this weeeell because, remember ver 1.00 having less gold drop from mobs? yeaa that meant I have limited item supplies so instead of trying again after losing, I continue in my save file :P.

I think I died 2 times trying to beat loki, 2-3 times during the boss fight at Mt. Lemele, (crazy earthquakes ,good thing it runs out of mana XD) and a few other times during "mafia encounters" especially the later ones hahaha. Oh! and also, do I get something if I beat gummi in her crazed state? cause I actually gave up after dying 4 times.... XD
The second part is a direct sequel meaning you'll be able to continue from the same save files so for people like Kaze, it's more rewarding cause he fund all the ultimates XD

About the glitch, I just can't find the source D:
I looked at all the events, but nothing!

And about Gummi Kaze
It doesn't matter whether you win or lose. She will beat you no matter what and that#s crazed Gummi for you!

Adon237
if i had an allowance, i would give it to rmn

As a player of the old demo, this game has improved a bunch! The intro, the dialogue, the battles, everything! I am having so much fun and I am only about an hour and a half in! This game is quite astounding!

I shall be awaiting for the installment no matter how long it'll take :3

Should I do a recording where a de-levelling of the characters occurs?

Whew! XD I thought I missed out something with gummi, like being able to go into her house(the one where her mom always kick me out, LOL ^o^) or some new gadget she might give me hahaha
Kaze, that would be really helpful, because I'd really like to get this glitch fixed >.<, but of course I really don't want to trouble you to do all that so don't worry if you can't!
Adon, I'm really glad you're liking it! Makes me happy to see an old demo player and see the improvements ^^

just give me a few minutes :)
Here ya go Sir Luster:

It would seem like the "level degrade" glitch occurs after inspecting the crossroad/direction sign here betweem the area of balvarin path and applon village.

oh my galoshes. So that must be the doomed sign everyone has been reading.
I just looked it up and yup -- It decreases 80 levels... It must be from the early days of development. Anyhow, I have removed it and it and people will no longer be delevelled. *sob* I can't believe I let that thing stay.
Thank you so much Kaze, that was extremely helpful!

No problem Sir Luster, glad I could help. :D
