Visions & Voices

Who are you to stop the apotheosis of a madman?

Visions & Voices is an adventure RPG made in only six weeks by Karsuman and Craze. It combines elements of traditional RPGs with the exploration present in an adventure game in order to create a fun - and quite dark - setting to play in. The game is limited in in-game days to accomplish your tasks and also your own limited abilities. While the six week timeframe limited their scope and potential, it still stands as a solid and impressive game. Keep an eye out for the numerous secret bosses and other hidden secrets.

The Reconstruction

A not-quite-typical adventure with a large cast and unique battle system.

You won't find yourself continuously hitting attack in this game, strategy is Deltree's focus in The Reconstruction. It tells a very epic tale with lush cartoon graphics and tactical game-play. The game sets itself a part with it's highly original battle system featuring row placement, Health/Mind/Soul bars, and a complex armor vs weapon elemental system. The Reconstruction is worth a play for anyone looking for battles different from the usual.

Paradise Blue

A Final Fantasy 1/5 style RPG that contains class changing/quests/and more!

Released by Ocean's Dream with much deserved fanfare, Paradise Blue is a neo-retro RPG with traditional gameplay elements and excellent custom 8-bit style graphics. Paradise Blue spices the traditional RPG just enough to be both a nostalgia trigger and an engaging new experience. The interesting storytelling approach of having strong characterization with a blank-slate custom party is novel and worth checking out.

From the creator of the thematically polar The Mirror Lied and Do You Remember My Lullaby? comes Quintessence, the "quintessential" RMXP RPG. Kan "Reives" Gao combines his event-driven narrative and visual style with original music compositions to create a full-scale RPG world. Rich attention to detail and a great plot set-up ensure there will be plenty to enjoy in this adventure.

Demon Legacy

A very good completed RPG.

Do not expect fantastic custom graphics, complicated systems, or anything mind shatteringly new. But it is a good, solid old school RPG, the kind you've come to know and love since you were eight years old and being weaned off the sweet teat of Final Fantasy. Its characters and world and story will fascinate you, its cinematics sequences will excite you, its well balanced battles and explorable dungeons will engage you. Shadar's arc is truly fascinating, and he is one the best developed characters RM game.

Play this fantastic game now.

Wilfred the Hero, Part 1

Innovative RPG with 100% custom-assets, including graphics, music, and gameplay systems.

A stylish game created by Brandon Abley and Teo Mathlein (amazingly) created in RM2k3. Don't let the incredible artwork and great music distract you though - there is a great game underneath. There are no default RM2k3 systems used here, as evidenced by the neat Skill Junction system.

Enjoy stunning artwork by Teo Mathlein and beautiful music by Brandon Abley. Features 100% user-created content and no RPG Maker 2003-default game systems.

Wilfred the Hero is an amazing game everyone should experience at least once.
