Games and Why You Play Them

Am I the only guy who plays his own games...?
I dunno, I pretty much play my game from start to finish dozens of time during the development...
Games and Why You Play Them

Right, games aren't interactive at all, or made for people to play.
Actually, I liked his analogy about the ship in a bottle; I rather feel the same way.
To me the excitement in launching a finished game is more that I have an open ticket to do anything with the next project, and less that I've posted a completed work. :)
Zero's Impossible Fortress
Wow. Hard. :)
It's a definite throw-back to the days when you had a certain number of tries before you had to start all over again, however that mechanic is... unforgiving in a game this tough.
I like the idea, and implementation is actually pretty smooth (I'd make right-click draw lines and left-click jump to help with platforming maybe? Would be interesting to see how that controls) but for a game so hard, I think we're rather harshly punished. (Imagine I Wanna Be the Guy with limited lives...)
Also, why doesn't this have 3x as many downloads at the very least?
